I gasp, sitting up. Sweats drips down the side of my face as I pant heavily. I felt a hand over mine and I look at Ruby, who was giving me a concerned look.

" Ruby?... ". I muttered and she nodded. " Why are you here? ". I asked confused. She had on navy blue pants, combat boots with red laces, and sleeveless shirt with a red and black flannel.

" I just wanted to come visit you if you wanted to go get breakfast with me and Weiss ". She said and I got in a more worse mood than usual. I pull my hands away and swing my legs to the side of the bed.

" No thanks ". I said plainly and stood up. I grit my teeth at the pain in my side. " Why not? It's been six years since I've seen you and I want to hang out with you ". She whined standing up.

I walk towards my bathroom, walking past some clothes scattered on the floor. " Why don't you hang out with Weiss? I'm sure she would love to hang out with you ". I said with a cold tone.

I walk in my bathroom, pushing the door open. I turn on the lights, stopping to face the wall mirror. " I don't know what I did, but I'm sorry. I just want to hang out with my sister. You were fine yesterday! ". She said in a whiny tone.

I take off my shirt slowly, wincing at the pain. Ruby gasped at the sight of my whole right side of my stomach, purple. Literally, a dark purple.

" What happened? ". She asked walking up to me. I grab a hair tie from the sink countertops, pulling my hair into a ponytail. Once I wrap my hair, I sigh.

" Last match got insane. But I got my fair share of cash, so I don't care ". I said bluntly. I then kneel down, gritting my teeth. I open my cabinets and take out the medical supplies.

" You should care! Your hurt! ". She yelled concerned. I stand back up, taking deep breaths. I push the cabinets closed, the pain now throbbing.

" Ruby. Now is not the time ". I said now getting irritated. I grab the tube that had red and white with the words. Antidote. " At least let me help you ". She said softly and I look at her.

Her silver eyes had such concern and sadness. We stared at each other until I finally gave in. I toss the tube to her and she squeaks, surprisingly catching it.

I turn around and hoist myself on the counter. I wince, clutching the sink countertops. Ruby walked up to me and I look away from her.

" How did this happen? ". She asked, squirting the creme on her fingers. " He put me in a headlock a from the front and started kneeing me at the side ". I said and flinch when she touches my side.

" Sorry ". She said and slowly rubbed the creme on my huge bruise. I grit my teeth, clutching the counter with a few small grunts here and there.

" Almost done ". She said and I suck in a shaky breath. " I'm still not going to accept your offer. I have better things to do ". I said and I saw her frown from the corner of my eyes.

" There ". She said and I let out a puff of air. I hop off the counter and grab the medicine patches. " Please come with us! ". She said eagerly as I start patching up all the purple.

I didn't say anything as I come to a finish with the patches. Using tape to hold it onto my side. My abs tensed when I pressed too hard at the tape, wincing.

" I don't want to Ruby. No is no. I thought you already knew that ". I said then exit the bathroom. She followed me out and I walk to my right.

" Why not? We were fine yesterday ". She said as I look through my closet of clothes. " It would be fine if you and me went out to get breakfast. But not with ice queen ". I said grabbing a gray v neck.

" But I want Weiss to be with us ". She pouted as I slowly put on the shirt. I sigh, staring blankly at my clothes then Ruby. She looked sad, but still had that twinkle of hope in her eyes.

She's still my sister...

" Okay ". I said with a small smile and her frown turns into a big grin. " Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ". She chanted running to me to give me a hug.

I Yelp then she pulls away. " Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! ". She said and I chuckle weakly. " It's okay... ". I said taking deep breaths.

The pain didn't last to long. Until me and Ruby went to another café in vale. It was called, Fury Fox's Café. It was high and mighty and I knew a guy who worked there, but other than that. Snobs everywhere.

" Yang... How nice of you to join us ". Weiss said as Ruby and I take a seat at the booth. Ruby sat next to Weiss while I sat opposite of them.

" I'm doing this for Ruby. Not for you, Ice Queen ". I spat coldly, leaning back against the chair. Ruby frowned and Weiss scowled at me.

" How about we just order? ". Ruby said trying to up the mood. " Yeah. Let's order, sis ". I said picking up the menu. I could see Weiss glaring at me but I just focused on the menu.

" Hey. Isn't that the yang xiao long who broke mercury's leg? "

" Yeah. She's banned from wrestling ever again "

" What a shame. She was good too ".

I slam the menu on the table, getting almost everyone's attention. I glance towards the girls who were talking and they looked away, afraid.

" Just ignore them. They don't know what they're talking about ". Ruby said nervously and I sigh annoyed. " How long are we staying here for? ". I said through gritted teeth, looking at the both of them.

" For how long we can catch up on each other's lives ". Weiss said and I glare at her. " I don't want to know about how your life is going, Ice Queen ". I said harshly and she just scowled at me.

" Guys! No fighting! You promised you wouldn't be mean ". Ruby said to Weiss. Weiss looked at her and sighed deeply. " Fine ". She muttered and Ruby grinned.

I roll my eyes and cross my arms. I noticed I kept getting stares but what's worse was seeing my little sister and Ice Queen all lovey dovey.

When can this pain finally come to an end?
