By this time the whole restaurant was staring even Danielle, she seemed embarrassed and it caused her to run out. Jacob looked at Shelby one last time before running after Danielle. Shelby seemed traumatized by seeing him, their entire bad history was replaying in her head and she wanted nothing more than to forget it all.

"Are you okay?" I asked, placing a hand on her arm.

She nodded her head but didn't make eye contact, we walked to the counter and got the food and then headed back to the booth.

"What was all that about?" Matt asks raising an eyebrow.

Shelby was still silent, he really did scar her.

"Let's not talk about it." I mouthed to Matthew and thankfully he respected our wish.

Just wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me in pecking my cheek, I smiled at the little gesture and grabbed a slice of pizza.

My phone was ringing and it was Cory, I've been avoiding his calls and texts. I stood him up, but I'm with Justin so what can i do about that?

Cory and I were supposed to go out but I never got back to him on it although I agreed to go out with him. I like Cory, he was sweet and all but I wasn't interested in him as much as I thought I could be. I guess you could say he was just a friend?

"Why is he still calling you?" Justin asked looking at my phone.

"I don't know?" I shrug, stuffing more pizza in my mouth.

"Well, does he know that you're not interested in him?"

I was a bit taken back, but I could see where he was coming from.

"Yeah," I lied "I told him, but doesn't mean we can't be friends?"

I didn't want him thinking that I like Cory because I don't, well at least not in that way.

Shelby was starting to open up a bit, she was more talkative and Matt was actually paying attention to her.

We've been at this pizza place for at least an hour just talking and enjoying each other's company.

"Are you guys ready?"

We all nodded, standing up from the booth we all exited the restaurant heading home.

Justin.

My phone has been ringing nonstop, since I've got in this car. I been ignoring it acting as if I don't hear it when I know we all do.

Once mines stopped, Matthews started and I knew the girls were starting to become curious as to why neither of us were answering our phones.

"Aren't you gonna get that?" Shelby frowns.

"No, it's no one important anyways." He shrugs.

"It could be your mom, even yours too Justin." Kelsey adds in.

We didn't respond back, we just ignored the conversation and let silence fall back between us. I hated lying to Kelsey, but it was only for her sake. Matthew doesn't have the problem like I do, him and Shelby aren't a thing.

We both know she wants to be more with him, but Matt just isn't interested.

My phone lights up letting me know there's a message.

As I approached the red light, I picked my phone up and saw that I had numerous missed calls and text messages from Lana's and Sean.

I started with Lana's first wondering what she wants.

Laura: Justin, I know you miss me just as much I miss you.

Laura: maybe we can catch up like old times? It'll be our little secret ;)

I felt disgusted when I read the rest of her messages, instantly deleting them. Before I could click on Sean's the light turned green and I quickly put my phone down.

We arrived to Kelsey's house twenty-five minutes later.

"Thank for tonight, I had fun." She smiles, I started I lean over when I heard gags coming from the back.

"Get a room, bro."

I glared at Matt, Shelby was chuckling as she blushed heavily looking out the window. I didn't care if they were here, Kelsey was my girl and everyone needed to know that.

I cupped her face kissing her lips softly, as she quickly responded back with hers. I didn't even care if they were watching, no one else but us mattered in this moment.

Kelsey makes me happy, I don't ever want to lose her. Shit, I'm already becoming a sap.

"I gotta go." She mumbled against my lips.

"Don't go." I pulled away.

She pecks my lips one last time before saying bye to us and she enters her home with Shelby.

Without hesitation Matt jumps on the front seat, handing me my phone.

I gave him an exasperated look, dialing up the last number I wanted to call.

"Hello?" His dark-voice greets from the other line.

"Hey, Max it's me. Is tonight still on?"

"Yeah, we're waiting on you and Matt. You have one hour."

The line went dead.

"What he say?" Matt asks.

"We have one hour."

Matt sighs shaking his head in distraught.

But I knew what was needed to be done.

It's been almost two months since I updated, shit.

I've missed you guys! How are you?

So there is kind of a twist to this story with Justin and Matt. Well mostly Justin.
