Calum was your typical jock. All of the girls loved him, had the biggest crush on him, and well tried to sleep with him any chance they got.

He loved sports such as soccer, football, cross country, and hockey because he got to spend the time with his friends and he just truly loved everything about sports.

But unlike most jocks, Calum wasn't rude, on purpose at least, he tried to be nice to everyone and brighten everyone's day.

"Calum," Jake shouted from the end of the hall.

"Jake, hey," Calum smiled, closing his locker.

"Did you hear about Kara's party tonight?"

"Who hasn't honestly," Calum raised his eyebrow and started walking to the gym.

Jake quickly caught up. "You are going right?"

"Tutor today," he shrugged. "Sorry man."

"But Cal. We've got to go. All the cheerleaders are gonna be there."

"Unlike you. I have a girlfriend, who I would like to keep," he pushed Jake, who quickly caught up again.

"Jess has been hanging out with that James kid."

"Just cause you don't have a girlfriend doesn't mean you should try and make up lies about mine," Calum glared.

"I'm not making lies. You know its true, you just don't want to believe it," Jake replied. "Come talk to me when you finally come to your senses." And with that, he walked away.

Calum continued to walked to gym, when he came across a tall blonde getting pushed to the ground by some of the other football players.

"Hey what the fuck guys," Calum said and they looked back. "Leave him alone."

They chuckled and walked away from the boy. Calum looked down at the blonde and got down on his knees to help pick up his things.

"Sorry about them," Calum said. "They're assholes."

"It's fine," he quickly replied and stood up.

"I'm Calum. Haven't I seen you in some of the school plays before?"

"Uh y-yeah."

"So what was your-"

"Hurry up!" A guy from behind him demanded at the boy, causing him to flinch, going towards the voice. Calum turned to see who it was but saw nothing.

"Okay. What the hell?" Calum murmured.

"Oh. Oh. OH!" Michael fist bumped the air and grinned at the brown haired boy who he had just beaten.

"Come on. You obviously cheated Mikey," Zac said. "I always win at this game."

"It's okay to lose sometimes," Michael placed a hand on his shoulder.

Michael Clifford, the school's biggest gamer. He knew just about everything and anything you would ever need to know about gaming and technology.

He's kind of a outcast here at South Peterson High. Nobody really knows him, mainly because he sits in the back of the class in just about every period and never raises his hand. His friend circle was small so there was not a whole lot of drama. He has had a huge crush on this girl named Sydney who was also a gamer but never seemed to notice him.

"Round 2?" Zac dared.

"Oh you're on," he sat back down and furiously pushed the buttons as fast as he could.

"How do you even do that?" Zac asked in confusion.

"Talent."

"Let's play a game where I know I'll win," Zac said, going to the shelf that held about every game.

***
Ashton, yes you guessed it. He's South Petersons High's smartest kid. Well not smartest but he was towards the top. He got a 4.0 GPA on every report card he's ever gotten and he always got A's.

Most people at this school called him a nerd. He did wear glasses, yes. He was smart, yes. But he doesn't like to be called a nerd.

He doesn't get picked on a bunch because he likes to keep in the shadows. Not creepily or anything. He's just an outcast.

"Mr.Irwin, do you know the answer?" Ms.Beck asked.

All eyes turned to Ashton and he scooted down in his seat and got nervous.

He knew the answer but knew that after he said it all of the name calling would start.

He sighed and nodded. "The answer is no, you would not mix those to chemicals together because it could be highly dangerous. You would mix the blue and green substances."

"Nerd," the kid from behind him said.

Ashton felt the anger rising in him but kept calm on the outside.

"Thank you," Ms.Beck smiled.

"Loser," the boy behind him got closer to his ear and made it to where only he could hear. "Nothing but an outcast."

Ashton ignored it as was saved by the bell.

"Thank god," he mumbled to himself as he gathered his things.

***
Luke Hemmings, the actor. He liked to act, he was in every school play and usually got the leading role. No one really came to the theatre performances but he still loved the feeling of being on stage.

Acting started for him at the age of 8, his mom loved how happy he looked when he was on stage and when he practiced his lines at home.

With acting came the things you sometimes have to do, sing and dance. So he was pretty good at both.

His life might seem great and okay but back at home, everything isn't okay.

His mum had met this guy and he seemed nice at first but then there was the one night after Luke's 8th grade play when he hit Luke's mum.

Ever since that night, he also hit Luke, abused drugs in their home, but every time someone tried to call the police, he threatened to kill Liz.

"Billy, did you get the script yet?" Luke asked, hopping off the edge of the stage.

"Nope. Ms.Bloom hasn't passed them out yet," Billy sat down. "Which part are you playing again?"

"Lead male part."

"Ooh. You get to kiss Jasmine in a scene don't you?" Billy smirked.

"Yeah but it's nothing," Luke shrugged.

"Nothing? This is your chance to get with her."

"She doesn't like me."

"You don't know that."

"But I do."

"Luke. Come on," Liz said quietly at the doors of the auditorium.

"See you at practice tomorrow," Luke said before walking up the steps.
