Lani POV I woke up to an empty bed and a text from Hakeem.

"Just got out of the family meeting with Dre's therapist, i'll be there in a minute."

"Aight baby"

A few minutes later, I heard the door open and close then Keem came in the room.

"Hey babe" he said as he sat on the bed next to me and kissed my cheek

"How's Andre doing?"

"He's cool, i guess. I don't really know."

"You okay?" I said, noticing his saddened look

"I'm just worried about Dre.. And this shit with my dad, he aint even come to the hospital with us."

"But you at least gotta cut him some slack, he's sick."

"You right."

"All you really should be worried about is who gon run this Empire."

"You already know its gonna be me." he said with a smile forming

"Everybody gon know you as The King Hakeem Lyon"

"And you gon be my queen"

I smiled before kissing him then he stood up

"Now getcha royal ass up so we can go to my dads house."

"Another family dinner?"

"Yup!" he said as he left the room.

All these damn dinners, I got up and took a shower then did my hair and make up and got dressed. (Media) I sprayed some perfume and took my phone off the charger then walked out into the living room.

"Damn Ma, who you gettin sexy for today?"

"Hakeem, I do this shit to impress myself, not you or yo family."

"Well damn. Okay then."

"Lets goooo."

We left and once we got to Lucious' house, we walked in and heard Cookie and Lucious talking so we walked towards them.

"Well Looky here, Y'all all coordinated with the all black. I love it. See Lucious, they got coordination"

I giggled "We'll be in the living room."

we walked to the living room and greeted Jamal, then cookie came up to me and said "Don't freak out please."

"Cleopatra's back, Antony." a voice said

I looked and it was that bitch Camouflage or Camille whatever the fuck it is.

"Why the fuck is she here Hakeem?!"

"I invited her." Lucious said

"Dad, why would you do that!"

"Don't worry about it."

"So this is the little bitch you left me for." Chartreuse asked Hakeem

"I'm not a bitch so check that shit"

"What ever child."

"Listen Chameleon, you not about to disrespect me like you know me so fix ya fuckin attitude before i do it for you."

Cookie and Jamal laughed while Hakeem told me to be nice. Fuck that

"Can i speak to you two in my study for a minute" Lucious said

I got up and so did Cabinet, following Lucious into another room.

"So, you both love my son, don't you" he said as he closed the doors
