Chapter 6

(A/N): Sorry if this chapter is boring....I have nothing else to say. Wait! Yes I do. Instead on saying 'Time Skip' I will just be putting the little dash mark. (-). Unless it's to a specific time period. Okay well ~Enjoy~

Toby's POV:

   I sat up in bed as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I looked around and noticed (y/n) was gone. I got out of bed and grabbed a shirt and blue, plaid pajama bottoms from the bottom drawer of my dresser. I put my goggles and mouth guard on also but left my gloves on the table beside my side of the bed as I went down to get some breakfast.

I mixed the ingredients for pancakes together as Jeff walked in and got a bowl down for cereal. "Hey h-have you seen (y-y/n)?" I asked as I poured the mix in the pan. "I just woke up. I don't think I've seen anyone but you yet." He replied as he poured the milk in his bowl. "Oh." I waited for the pancake to be finished before I flipped it and waited another few minutes. "Do you wanna go out killing today?" Jeff asked bluntly as he sat down and started eating his cereal. "Uh..s-sure." I sat down and put my feet in a chair across from me as I put syrup all over my pancakes and began eating.

I put my dish in the sink and went up to the room to get ready to go out. I got dressed and fixed my hair and put my gloves on when I heard the door open and a gasp before it quickly but quietly shut again. I ran out and saw (y/n) fast walking down the hall. I ran after her and grabbed onto her shoulder, making her look at me. "Are y-you trying to a-avoid me?" I asked sadly. "N-no." She replied hesitantly. I hung my head and sigh. "If your s-still upset with the I-incident with C-Clockwork. I'm really s-sorry." I said I looked up at her, pleadingly. She sighed with her eyes closed and smiled slightly. "That's not what wrong." She said reassuringly. "So s-something is wrong." I stated as I looked at her firmly.

Your POV:

I can't be here much longer. She could just happen to walk around the corner. I need to get back to Jane. I told her I would help her with something but she said it was a surprise. "So s-something is wrong." He said. I looked at him and shook my head. "No nothing is wrong. I'm just in a hurry." Toby dropped his head. "Okay. W-well I'm going o-out killing with J-Jeff. I'll be b-back later." He said before turning around and walking away.

I planned to get up earlier than him so I wouldn't have to 'make contact' with him this morning. 'Toby. I'm doing this for you. I love you.' I turned back aroun and made my way to Jane's room.

"What do need?" I asked as I walked through her bedroom door. "I just wanted you to help me move my things around my room. If that's fine with you." I nodded my head and smiled a small smile as I began helping her rearrange her bedroom. Was it necessary for this to be a surprise?

Toby's POV:

I walked through the woods with Jeff, making small talk here and there as we headed to a victims house. "H-hey Jeff. (Y/n)'s been a-avoiding me today. She s-says she isn't but, I h-have a feeling she's n-not telling me something." I said. Jeff only nodded and tried squinting his eyes as he thought. "You should spy on her. See if anything really is happening." Jeff suggested. I nodded my head and looked forward again as we reached out destination.

Your POV:

   I sat on the couch and pondered, thinking about how I should get myself out of this mess with Clockwork and continue my normal, slightly insane life with Toby. Okay it is completely insane, nothing about it is normal. I live with famous murderers for gods sake.

As a matter of fact I haven't seen or heard from Clockwork all day. That can be a good thing unless she's coming up with something else. BEN came in and sat on the couch, getting ready to play a video game. I want to talk to someone but, what if she hears? I decided to get up and check every corner of the room for cameras or wire taps. (Or whatever the hell you call them) I locked the door after I saw there was none and sat in front of BEN. "Hi." He said awkwardly. "I need to talk to you." I stated. "And what makes you think I'm good for advice?" He asked as he leaned back on the couch. "Just shut up and listen." I lowered my voice to a whisper just in case. I explained what happened, starting from when Clockwork came out and beat me up last night and everything, I even showed him the bruise for proof.

"I don't know what to tell you." He said bluntly. I sighed and flopped onto the couch I was sitting on. "But that bruise looks pretty bad, you should get Smiley to check it out." He said before continuing his game.

-To Dinner-

I sat at the dinner table with everyone but I wasn't hungry so I just sat there. "I'm gonna go ahead to my room." I told Slender before getting up and walking up the steps.

I sat on the bed for a while before deciding to change into something more comfortable. I changed into some short shorts and as I was lifting my shirt and took it completely off the door opened and in stepped Toby. I saw his eyes widen as he looked at the bruise that covered my entire stomach. "(Y/n), w-what happened? Are y-you okay?" Toby asked worriedly as he quickly came up to me. 'Dammit.' I mentally scolded myself for not making sure to lock the door. "I'm fine Toby, don't worry about it." I stated as I turned my back to him. I wish he could help me.

I felt his hand on my shoulder and he roughly made me turn around and look at him. I saw the hurt in his eyes as he looked at me angrily. "(Y/n). What's w-wrong? I know y-your avoiding me. I w-want to help you and I want t-to know why y-you won't talk to me about t-things. Now tell me e-everything that happened yesterday w-when you left the table." He stated firmly. I felt the tears in my eyes as I wanted him to comfort me and tell me everything was okay and that he wouldn't let Clockwork hurt either of us.

"I-I can't." I stuttered as tears fell from my eyes. "W-why?" He asked as he made me sit on the end of the bed and got a shirt for me. "B-because....she'll hurt one of us." I said quietly between sobs. "Who will h-hurt on of us?" Toby asked, sitting beside me and wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Her." I said. He almost instantly knew who I was talking about and narrowed his eyes. "D-dammit! She h-hurt you!?" He yelled angrily. I nodded my head and he clenched his fist in anger. "T-Toby calm down. I'm fine. We can't say anything to anyone." I then explain what happened and cried more into his chest as he held me. Oh how I miss him holding me. His grip on me tightened and he buried his face into my hair. "It's o-okay (y/n). We can talk to S-Slender tomorrow. Let's just go to b-bed for now." Toby said he stood up and got his pajamas on.

   I crawled into bed and Toby got in soon after. He didn't have his gloves, goggles, or mouth guard on anymore so I leaned up and kissed him. He kissed back and the kiss felt needy as if we haven't seen each other in months. We soon parted and slowly drifted off to sleep in each other warmth.
