This is something that I have read from MichaelLimjoco.
To be included in one of the rankings, in any genre that your book is in. . . do this tips, and hopefully it would help you.
1. Update during the night of Fridays, or saturdays (But usually it's slower in saturdays so friday)
Why? Because the next day, that's when most people are going to be reading stories & where the Wattpad team usually calculates some overall technicalities of your story.
2. Or if you can't at least 2x a week. Don't abandon your story altogether, if you're in a jiffy, let your reader knows why you were gone for so long and do your promise when you'll update.
Now for more technicalities and concern, I recommend to you to read MichaelLimjoco's "How to's" in his works. It's very helpful!
