Chapter 4: I'm in a band

{Tony's POV}

"Lisa" I whispered.

I poked her cheek trying to wake her up.

"Lisa wake up"

"Whaaaaaat"

"C'mon, foods ready"

She got up and groaned.

We went downstairs and headed for the table, where the rest of the boys were.

"Hi Lisa!" Jaime said.

She waved at him and began eating. Everyone was quiet, so I decided to start a conversation.

"So Lisa, what's Monsters & Mayhem?" I asked.

Everyone looked at me confused, except for Lisa, who was smiling.

"It's the band I am in" she said, looking at her plate.

"You're in a band?!" Vic exclaimed.

"Yeah, since high school. We've gotten millions of views on YouTube, but no record deal has shown up yet"

"Are you guys good?" Mike asked.

Lisa shrugged her shoulders, "I guess"

"Who else is in the band?" Jaime asked.

"My three friends, Jade, Lucy, and Amy. We're all Spanish except for Amy, She's Irish"

"Well I would love to hear you guys play" I said.

"We have band practice today, what time is it?" She asked.

"3:40"

She spit out her drink, "shit! I'm late!"

"We can take you" I said getting up.

"Can we come?" Vic asked.

"Yeah, sure, doesn't matter. I'm driving, lets go"

{Lisa's POV}

I ran inside Lucy's house. They were in the living room, watching tv.

"You're late" Jade spoke.

They looked up and their jaws dropped.

Amy jumped up and yelled, "pierce the veil is right in front of me!"

She ran up to Jaime and jumped on him.

"Woah there" he said, almost falling back.

"Amy lets go, they are watching us practice"

"Lets do it!" Jade yelled.

"So um, josh is sick" Lucy said.

"Oh, then who's ganna check our sound check and stuff?" I asked.

Jaime raised his hand, "I could do it!"

"Sure!" Amy said.

We got in the booth and got our instruments ready. I am singer but play a little guitar, Amy is bass, Jade is drums, and Lucy is guitar.

"So what song should we do?" I spoke.

"Um can you guys do screams?" Vic asked.

I nodded.

"Great, can you do King for a day?"

"Yeah sure, Jade can you sing Kellin's part?"

She nodded, "sure"

"Okay, start whenever your ready" Jaime said.

I nodded, my breathing increased, I began to get sweaty, but I took a deep breath and begin playing.

{Tony's POV}

They were amazing! I pulled Vic to the side.

"We have to let them go on tour with us"

"I don't know man-"

"C'mon, they're good. And for some reason they don't have a record deal yet. If we take them to tour with us, they will get a record deal. We were underdogs once, lets not let them be some"

"You're right"

We went back to the other boys and they agreed.

Once they finished, we called them back out.

"So we um...decided you guys should to tour with us" Vic said.

Lucy stood there frozen, Lisa had a hand over her mouth, Amy tried controlling her breathing, and Jade started crying. I felt kinda bad, maybe it was a bad idea.

Or not because they all jumped up and screamed.

"We are going to tour with pierce the veil"

Lisa came and hugged me.

"Thank you so much"
