Sarah's POV
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
My alarm went off signaling I had to get up to get ready for hell; also know as school. You see, I don't really like school. It's just sitting around with a bunch of sluts, and dumb jocks for seven hours. Don't get me wrong, I'm smart. Top of my class, I just really hate the people there.
I rolled out of bed and dragged my body to the bathroom to take a shower. I turned on my stereo and played some Twenty Øne Pilots before hopping into the shower. Once I was out I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked to my closet.
I slid on a pair on a of black skinny jeans and a dark grey shirt. I put a black beanie over my still damp hair before putting on my watch and necklace and going downstairs.
I looked at the clock and saw it was 7:30. I put on my leather jacket then grabbed my skateboard and slipped on my shoes. I put my backpack on, stuffing my phone inside then headed outside.
As soon as I closed the door I was greeted by one of my best friends, Blake.
He was known as the school's horn dog. He was dressed in torn black jeans, and a black Twenty Øne Pilots shirt under his leather jacket. His hair; not even done.
"Well I wasn't planning on seeing you this early mister lazy bones," I smirked.
He shrugged, "Well you know my Ma, 'You lazy ass pothead, get your ass up before I beat you!'" He told me in a high pitched voice while rolling his eyes.
I laughed a little, "You know you can always just stay with me right?" I informed him.
His eyes almost popped out of his head. You could tell even though he had on sunglasses.
"What?" He asked in disbelief.
"What do you mean 'what'?"
"So you're telling me, I could've moved out a while ago?" Blake asked through gritted teeth.
"Ay, don't get mad me. I told you last week at Sam's,"
"You dumb bitch. WE WERE HIGH AT SAM'S LAST WEEK!"
"Oh yeah; my bad," I snorted.
"You know wha- ugh lets just go to school before I lose my shit," he said pinching the bridge of his nose.
I nodded my head and dropped my board down on the ground. We skated down the center of the road; swerving back and forth. The further we went the more of our group came and joined. Soon enough or whole group was skating down hill towards our school.
We all skated up to the steps leading to the front doors of school. We all got off our boards and formed a circle and began to talking.
There was eight of us total in the group:
Me: The only girl
Blake: The Horn Boy
Sam: The loud one
Nick: The Human Garbage Can
Matt: The Quiet One
Jake: The Mama's Boy
Devin: The Childish One
Derek: The Pretty Boy
Derek and Blake were hard to tell apart sometimes, due to them being twins. Especially when they wore the same thing.
The bell rang signaling it was time for first period. We all split up and went to our individual classes.
My first hour class was Science. Which was not my strongest subject.
I walked into class to see all of the popular girls each sitting in a jock's lap and twirling their blonde hair.
I rolled my eyes and made my way to the back of the classroom and took my seat.
"Hey Sarah, or should I call you Sam since you act like such a boy."
