The Wrong Path

Chapter 2

I wasn't going to be rude, so I got up and said "hey my name is John Peterson." She was very kind we sat together and talked about the book she had spoiled for me. It was going great until I weird black truck pulled up and honked she just stopped immediately and said she had to go. I didn't know what to do so I just got my things and went home.

A few days had passed and as I was walking down the hall I ran into her I never noticed her features until now she had beautiful brown hair with an amazing color of eyes that I can't quite name. She was very pretty but I feel as if somethings bothering her. She asked me if I wanted to have lunch with her and I couldn't even speak I just froze in shock muttering I.. I.. Uhh.. yes. I was such a clueless fool.

We had lunch together and then headed to the park it was really fun hanging out with her, although she would always look at her phone. I felt like asking her if something was bothering her but all she would say is she's fine nothing's wrong. Each day we would have lunch and sit at the park it became our usual thing now. I have to admit it was great for once I was actually happy.

After a few weeks had passed Addison and I were best friends we would hang out all the time. We would go reading at the park together, ride bikes, and eat lunch together all the time I thought it was perfect. Well my uncles thought it'd be nice to go to Miami with my grandparents for our thanksgiving break. I asked Addison if she wanted to come with me to Miami for the break and she said yes.

I was getting my bags ready to go see my grandparents when suddenly my phone rang. It was a message from Addison saying she can't go and she's sorry. I was so mad because she had already promised me that I just shut the phone off and ignored it. As I was driving to the airport I noticed Addison talking to a man in a black van and then suddenly three men came out and grabbed her!! She was instantly pulled in and they drove off. I couldn't do anything my uncles didn't believe so we just kept driving I just sat there in shock.
