Raven POV
I think something is up with Carter, he comes home smelling like sex and another female but I'm not going to make any assumptions just yet, Ima wait to see if he's going to tell me anything before I confront him. So it's now 1 am and Carter just walked in then house, now I'm mad as hell. He comes in and walks over to me and says
"Hey, what are doing up so late?" He asks like nothing is wrong.
"Hey, waiting up for you and wondering why are you coming home so late" I said.
"I was working late"
"Yea, I bet you were" I sarcastically replied.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Carter asked trying to sound hurt.
"You come home at 1 in the fucking morning smelling like sex and another female and you expect me
to believe that you were working late, the same excuse you have been using all week."
"Ok, so let me just tell you" he mumbled.
"Yea let me know"
" I have been having sex with my co-worker Jay and that's why I have been coming home late, but It-"
"Please Carter don't make an excuse to why you cheated cause I don't wanna hear it" I replied as I started to gather my things and leave out.
Carter POV
"I'm sorry I was-"
"What just in the moment?" Raven said interrupting me.
"Yea come on baby I promise it'll-"
"Never happen again" She scoffed, "I've heard it all before so save it" she said before slamming the door in my face. Maybe this happened for a reason, maybe it's telling me that me and Raven just aren't meant to be so when Raven comes back tonight or tomorrow Ima just tell her that's we can't do this anymore and that she has to move out.
