L.O.D.D.: So you risked involving the help of your commanding officer.
Romanoff: Yes, sir.
L.O.D.D.: Calling on to S.H.I.E.L.D. for an extraction after you went on against Ivan. Why didn't you just involve S.H.I.E.L.D. in the beginning? You are aware of how the situation was dire, right agent? A teenage boy, your little brother, could've died.
Romanoff: My second option was to let S.H.I.E.L.D. handle the situation and the thousands of the other QE subjects, but that would have been messy. Shutting it down from the very system would have been the solution. I was aware of the situation, sir.
L.O.D.D.: [sighs] So what of your brother and the girl?
Romanoff: Alex is in good condition. So is Ava. They have qualified to be a S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. As soon as they've recovered they will go through training.
L.O.D.D.: What do you feel about your brother being an agent? And the girl?
Romanoff: This a hearing inquiry sir, not a therapy session. This kids are up for it and have already experienced a high-kill mission in Istanbul.
L.O.D.D.: These kids were experimented on along with the thousands with QE with the O.P.U.S.. They will be asked to submit to the lab in order to understand the QE and how the O.P.U.S. works. Well, worked.
Romanoff: I'm aware of that sir. But it's their choice if they want anyone fiddling around their brains.
