Prologue

A/N:

Hey, people of earth! How goes it?

I would just like to put it out that I'm currently editing Immortal because I was a lot amateur when I'd started it and for the story to make sense there's quite a few things that would need to be changed.

To The old readers; the changes aren't going to be much, so, the storyline isn't changing at all. Although, a few things like the names of some characters might be changed and just a few scenes but nothing too drastic, I promise.

**Calvin's POV**

The twenty four year old Calvin Jordan was seated in the carriage with a large grin on his face as he thought about seeing the faces of his family once again. He brushed his fingers through his black silky hair which fell to the nape of his neck and set his hand back to his thigh.

It had been three years since he had seen them last and he couldn't contain his excitement as the carriage got closer to his village.

"I can see you are excited." A familiar female voice said, pulling Calvin from his thoughts. He turned to the blonde haired lady who was seated opposite him, brushing away strands of hair that fell loose from her bun as the wind combed through it.

Her green almond eyes smiled at him as did her plump pink lips and he could tell she was just as excited as he was to be journeying home.

"I am still very grateful to you for letting me ride with you, my lady."  He said in appreciation, bowing his head in gratitude.

"It is no problem at all." She smiled, waving her hands dismissively before glancing out of the carriage window. She set her hands down on her ruby red skirt and interlaced her slim, pale fingers.

Calvin had been someone quite special to her. He was the only one she could fully trust in all of the palace. He had done so much for her and with time she had come to see him as a little brother, especially after finding out that they came from the same village.

With an even bigger smile, Calvin turned also to stare out of the carriage window. He recalled his journey over the past three years.

Calvin had left home three years prior in search of his destiny like he had always dreamt of doing since he was a little boy. His father had always told him to follow his heart, to let fate guide him to where he was meant to be and Calvin had lived by those words since then.
