Note: First time trying this out so bear with me. There might be a lot of mistakes, forgive me haha anyways I'll go ahead and get this started.
By the way this story switches from 3rd POV to Maines only.  I dont know yet if I'll include Aldens cause I feel like mas easier to do Maines kasi we can read her better than Alden but nevertheless I'll see how this goes.

-E

How she ended up in this profession, she will never know. She couldn't see why they chose her to be part of the newly recruits for the aircraft's steward crew. She knew how many people had applied for this job.

It was one of the recent aircraft companies that had became extremely popular after being subject to many articles praising it for its smooth flights. It had various celebrities comment on its excellent service. Even celebrities from foreign countries had posted pictures on their social media accounts and had nothing but good comments about the aircrews service and flight. Shortly it became a hot topic and quickly rose to the top and became the center of attention in the country and worldwide.

That's how much of a 'big deal'  it was. A lot of people desired to be a part of the leading aircraft company and have their name associated with it. So when she got that acceptance letter she couldn't believe it.

She didn't think of herself too highly so she wondered what made the officers choose her? She thought it most as a joke rather than the real deal. Her family were happy for her but she couldn't shake the feeling of self doubt. She really couldn't help it. All throughout her life she had always been like this. Self questioning herself and not thinking herself to be worthy, worthy of anything really. Unlike her sisters she wasn't the believe-in-yourself type. She was more of a pessimistic-realist type. (More on the pessimistic side though) But nevertheless she congratulated herself on the surprising achievement.

Eto na talaga..this is it. She thought as she was making her way to the office. She held her ID to the security guard and that granted her entry to the building. Bonga, wow. She looked around at the place enthralled by the architecture. Large glass windows covered the whole area, and a dome shaped roof covered the top with blue encrusted diamond chandeliers hanging from the ceilings.

She couldn't help but feel a bit stupid for being picked. Once again, she felt as if sooner or later, she'll mess up. Taking a breath she dismissed the thought and fought against her nature. Her eyes found what looked like the reception area and she headed straight for it.

"Hello, ako po si Maine Mendoza, nadito po ako para sa induction.. uh newly recruit po ako. Im a stewardess."

She fumbled for her ID and handed it over to the woman at the reception. The woman kept her eyes on the screen and swiftly took the ID without even glancing at her.

"Ah, Mendoza okay wait lang I'll just sign you in to the slot- perfect! okay Maine, just got to 7th floor and go the the Conference room andun si Boss- ay si Sir Vic Sotto who is the CEO nang company and he will be leading the induction."

She quickly typed on the keyboard and then looked over and flashed a big smile. Maine wore a rigid smile and nodded slowly, taking back her ID.

"hey okay ka lang?"

The girl turned her swivel chair and faced the girl.

"nervous ka no?..first day mo?" she tilted her head sympathetically and waited till the girl nodded.

She looked around at the building and nodded while chuckling. "lahat to nakaka overwhelm I know, but kaya mo to" She then stood up and held her hand out "Its great here, talaga. I'm Patricia by the way." shaking her hand, Maine felt a tiny bit better. At least this is starting off on a positive note.
