Chapter 1

"Daddy please don't leave! Momma's gonna hurt me again! Please!" The little boy looked up at his father through his blurry eyes. "I'm sorry Kota, but Daddy is no longer able to be around you. I'm very sorry I wasn't able to keep you safe. Just promise me I'll understand when you're older, okay buddy?" The boy's father wrapped his arms around his son's small frame. He whispered something softly in his ear. "When you come of age when you find out the truth, come find me and I'll protect you again. I promise." The boy nodded through he didn't understand what his father meant. "Tyler your time is up. I hope you are forever lonely you bastard! Now leave. You're no longer needed. This brat I call a son will never be great and yet I'm stuck with it till its eighteenth birthday." The mother grabs her son's hair hard pulling him back making him yelp in pain. The father clenched his fists and glared at her. "I will get him back from your flithly hands." The man grabbed his suitcase and looked at his sobbing son with a worried and apologetic look. "I'll come back I promise." And with that the man left his pride and joy in the clutches of a monster.

Kota's POV

Its been eight years since my dad left and my mom had just gotten worst. She's beaten me so many times that I've been hospitalized four different times for more than three months. I've had the same nightmare of my dad leaving since I was 10. Right now I'm sitting at my computer hacking my way through prison records. I've been searching for my dad's location for a while. I've tried police files in almost every state, but I get nothing. "Kota~" I sighed and looked over at my best friend. "Yes Kimmy?"
"Can we do something besides sit here and watch you hack the national system?"
"What would you have in mind if we did something else, princess."

Kimmy glared at me and flipped me off. Kimmy is not your average dutch bitch, she's the princess of The Netherlands. Her really name is Estella Kimithy Hagen. The first day we met she slapped me in the face, because I 'touched her butt'. We got into an argument and we realized we were both hard headed, so we became best friends. Its been two years since then and we're both the same besides that I'm gay and she's lesbian. She's got a girlfriend and I'm a single gay fuck boy as my mother calls it. My mother got bitch slapped by Kimmy too when she kicked me down the stairs, so now when Kimmy's over she doesn't come near me. "Kota come braid my hair please, since we both know you're not gonna find anything today either." I sighed knowing she was right. I never find anything. Its like he disappeared off the face of the planet. I got up and sat on the bed next to Kimmy and took the black ponie out of her beautifully long blonde and blue hair. I started french braiding it and tied it back up. "Thanks Kota"
"No problem kitty." She giggled at her nickname and meowed at me making me laugh. "So mister computer wiz, you really for school tomorrow?"
"Not one bit. I hate being picked on because I'm small."
"Hey think of yourself as a cat. Small yet fearless." I smiled at her and laughed. "You always find a way to connect everything to cats, don't you."
"My nickname isn't Miss Kitty Wiz for no reason now is it?"

She smiled and get up stretching. It was almost 8:30 and her curfew was nine. She grabbed her bag and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Don't spend all night on the computer again. Please get some sleep Kubby. G'night love you."
I smiled softly and nodded, "G'night love you too Kitty." She walked out and yelled at my mom that if I had burses tomorrow she'd gut her alive and feed her insides to her. I shivered at the thought of that. No doubt Kimmy could do that if it came to me. I got up and locked my door and shut off my computer. I striped to my blue boxers and climbed into my warm bed and plugged in my iPhone. I plugged in my earbuds and turned on Angel with a Shotgun and fell asleep listening to Nightcore.
