Chapter 1: Where The Hell am I?

"UgHhhhh, what tHe? Where the hell am I?" Iggy muttered as he sat up rubbing his head. He coughed as he slowly made his way to his feet. He felt the damp, musty air on his skin. Reaching his arms out he felt cool rock surrounding him.

"Why am I in a freaking cave?" He questioned as he continued to feel around.

"Hello? where is everyone? Max? FaAAAAAAAAAnG? Ella?" He shouted as he remembered what happened..

"EVERYONE GET TO THE CAVES!!!! NOW!! THE WORLD IS ENDING!" Someone frantically shouted as they ran through the so called "Paradise". Ella dragged Iggy along with the rest of the flock following.

"Where's Angel?" The Gasman yelped as he sprinted after Iggy.

Nudge quickly added on to his question, "Yeah, where's Max, Fang, and Dylan??"

Ella gulped, "I dunno, c'mon! they are probably fine-we just have to get to safety!"

Iggy frantically thought of everyone and wondered if they were okay.

"Okay," Iggy mumbled to himself. "I need to get out of here... Hmm what would Max do in a situation like this? Uh-" He cut himself off as he heard something approaching. "What was that?" He thought to himself.

"Hello?" He shouted. "Can you hear me?!"

"Iggy?!?" Iggy faintly heard a familiar voice. "Iggy is that you!?" Relief flooded through him, as he made his way to the rock wall that separated him from the voice.

"Thank god, FANG? Dude, IS THAT YOU?" he shouted to the voice.

He heard footsteps shuffling around.

"Yeah, Ig it's me." Fang said from outside the cave. "Are you okay man? are you hurt?" Fang's asked.

Iggy replied sarcastically. "Aw yeah man I'm just trapped in a cave that's all.. Other than that I'm just peachy.." Iggy rolled his eyes.

"Really, not the time for your witty remarks.."

"sorry."

"Is there anyone else in their with you?"

"No, it's just me in here... How about you?"

Fang seemed to get quieter. "It's just me, I got separated from Max, Angel, and Dylan.. I have no idea where they are."

Iggy started to dig away at any lose rocks. "What even happened man? I've been unconscious, the last thing I remember is running to the caves with Ella, Gazzy, and Nudge.. Now I have no idea where they are, and if they are okay.... Here- help me move these rocks."

Fang started to move some rocks. "Uh well there was a huge fire in the sky, then a tsunami thing...then it was all calm.."

"Um, right.." Iggy muttered.

Iggy moved a rock and felt a rush of cool air flood into the cave. He crawled through a small opening and out onto the ground in front of his friend.

"Uh, fresh air, finally- I could barely breath in there." Iggy gasped as he laid on the ground. "phew. glad I'm out of there..."

Iggy sat up and exhaled. "So what's your plan?"

Fang crossed his arms. "Honestly, I don't have one."

"Great." Iggy said as he stood up next to Fang and brushed the sand off his pants.

"So what are we lookin' at Fang?" He breathed.

Fang looked at all the rubble, the puddles of water swamping at their feet. He crossed his arms. "Well, it looks like absolute shit.." He uttered.

"Great, any signs of survivors?" Iggy asked hopefully.

Fang gulped, "Um, yeah I see some people off in the distance recovering.."

"That's good."

"I say we go in the air so I can scope out the scene better, you can, um, listen for survivors?"

"Fine," Iggy agreed. "Then lets get going." He took off into a running start then outstretched his wings, and Fang followed.

They both flew above the demolished land, scouting for signs of life. Fang saw groups of people gathered around fires as clouds covered the sky. They heard children whining, as people tended to their injuries.

"Man this is really depressing..." Iggy broke the silence.

Fang rubbed his face. "Dude you don't want to see this, it's- devastating.."

It got quiet again. They stayed silent as they continued to fly.. About a half an hour passed till someone broke the somber mood. Iggy stopped dead in his tracks, he cocked his head to the side, something he usually does when he hears something.

Fang noticed and stopped along side him. "What do you hea-" Iggy cut him off,

"ShhHh-" He spat.

"I-I think it's Max and Dylan.."

This is my first fanfic that I ever put on a website of some sort... Uh, how did I do? I have no idea how long a chapter should be is this a good length?
