"NATIQUE!"
I hear my best friend Sierra calling my name from downstairs but I just put on my beats headphones and ignore it.
I know exactly why she's calling me down there.
I sigh and shake my head as I lay down and pull the covers over me.
Maybe they'll think I'm really sleeping?
I laugh and cover my mouth.
Sierra and my big sister Allie set me up on a blind date. I told them that I'm done dating guys and I'm okay with being single. Every guy I've met hasn't met my standards and I'm not interested in another disappointment. Maybe I just expect too much? I peddle out of the thought and smile as I feel the warmth of the cover. It's cold and December. Which is exactly the reason why I'm in my Victoria's Secret pajamas.
I live in Las Vegas, NV. I grew up here and I'm happy being with my friends and family.
Music and dancing is my life! Ever since I can remember, its all I've ever wanted to do. Everything is perfect! My career, my friends and family. The house all three of us share. But my love life is non-existent and I've just given up on trying at all anymore.

I close my eyes and try acting dead asleep until the covers get yanked off of me and my headphones taken off. I give up on the sleeping act and open my eyes to a happy Sierra, standing over my bed with my headphones in her hand. While my sister Allie is standing by the door texting on her phone and laughing at the scene.
Sierra has light brown eyes and brown hair that's perfectly made up today from her curling iron probably. Her skin is light and soft from the Bath and Body Works lotion she's obsessed with. She's wearing black Levi's skinny jeans that shows off her long legs and a white T-shirt. Her face is oval and her smile is contagious. She makes everyone happy somehow and she's beautiful. Sierra is a writer, she's had a novel published and always in her room writing it seems like, but still outgoing. Guys are always thirsty over her. It makes me laugh. She's picky and ignores most though. I know she has her eyes on a basketball player at the local college that she likes but won't admit it.
Allie, my big sister has mocha brown skin with pretty brown eyes. She has dark hair that's straight with a beanie on her head. Her makeup is done up as usual, she works at MAC and her makeup is always perfect. She's wearing joggers and a Cali sweater. Allie's popular with the guys too, but then again we all are. She has a boo, Tyler, that lives down the street. There cute but I wanna gag when I see them all over each other, all the time.
I swear she stays on her phone! Always has something to say to me. But I love her to death and we all have fun. We constantly go to Starbucks and act stupid together... I kinda want some Starbucks right now.
Damn.
"Natique! You aren't getting out of this. We already set you up on the date for tonight! Oh my God, you can wear that sexy black dress and I'll do your hair and makeup! Your gonna look so cute babe," She starts jumping up and down squealing. I roll my eyes.
Her ass is always so cheery but that's why I love her.
"Guys, please! I don't wanna go! It's a blind date... I'm not pathetic!" Sierra frowns and Allie walks up next to her.
"No one thinks that girl. It'll be fun! You need to get out Natique and get dressed! Get your ass up, " She yanks my arm and I yell at her to leave me alone. But then Sierra comes between us with a sad frown.
"Allie cat, maybe Natique is right? We shouldn't make her go if she really doesn't want to... I'll just cancel it..." She gives me a small smile and hands back my headphones.
"I'm sorry girl, we just wanted to cheer you up." She hugs me and Allie gives me a dirty look.
Fuck.
Now I feel bad.
I sigh.
"Okay..."
"Okay what?" Allie asks, with a smirk.
I roll my eyes at her. "I'll go! Damn!"
Sierra pulls back with a big smile on her face.
"Really?!" She screams and leads me out of my room and towards the bathroom to help get me ready.

What did I just do?
