Missing Piece

"Kuya! Picture tayo!" Riza said and RJ agreed almost immediately.. It wasn't new that he looked and felt tired, but this time it was different..

"O kuya.. Ok ka lang?" Riza asked and sat beside Alden, she looked at him intently as he looked back at her..

"Oo naman.. Kasama ko kayo eh!"

RJ said and hugged his sister lightly, Riza faked a smile and looked at Alden again as he broke the hug

"Kuya, eto realtalk ah.. Malungkot ka eh"

Riza said that made RJ freeze for a moment, he wasn't sad.. Something was just missing..

"Ano ka ba.. Pagod lang to! Kakaumpisa lang ng bakasyon ko eh!"

Alden tried to reason out, but Riza wasn't convinced..

"Sabihin mo nalang kasi kung miss mo na!"

Riza said with a knowing smile, RJ sighed and looked at his phone

"Di pa kasi nagDDM sakin.. Nag-aalala na ako eh"

RJ said and scrolled through his twitter, there were tons of snapchat updates from her, so he decided to finally open his own..

"Nagsa-Snapchat naman pala kuya, yan na muna pinaka update mo sa kanya.."

Riza said and scooted closer to her brother to see Maine's snapchat updates too..

"Gawa-gawa kasi ng Snapchat pero di man ginagamit.."

"Ginagamit naman.."

RJ replied as he kept on watching.. Riza smirked and pinched her brother on his shoulder lightly..

"Ginagamit nga, para lang makita si Ate Maine.."

RJ smiled true enough though, he only made an account to (somehow) monitor Maine, and it was really new to Riza..

"Alam mo kuya, ngayon ka lang nagkaganyan, hindi ka naman ganyan sa past relationships mo eh.. Mas masaya ka ngayon"

RJ's smile grew wider, Maine's snaps were done and he was just now listening to his sister..

"Di pa kami.. Anong relationship ka dyan?"

Riza smirked ang playfully pinched RJ's red ears..

"Sus.. Ikaw na mismo nagsabi.. Hindi PA! So may balak ka ngang manligaw?"

Then there it was, the sparkle that left his eyes when Maine left was back, and just the thought of them being together for real made him extremely happy..

"Yan! Ayan ang nawala! Yung saya sa mata mo! At kuya, namumula ka!"

Riza teased, RJ couldn't erase the smile on his face, he is happy now, but happier when Nicomaine Dei Mendoza is around..

"Alam mo Riza, gusto ko kapag nanligaw ako, yung pareho kami ng nararamdaman para mas madali at that way, sure na ako, na tatanggapin nya nga ako bilang boyfriend nya"

"Sus, ayaw mareject.. Mahal mo na ba talaga kuya?"

Riza asked, RJ looked at his sister..

"Mahal na mahal.. Higit pa kahit kanino.. Mahal ko si Maine sigurado ako dun.. "

Riza's eyes beamed with joy, finally the questions in her head got their answers.. Finally, RJ found his own happiness..

"Alam mo kuya, boto ako sa kanya.. Sana kayo na forever.. Hanggang sa pagtanda.."

RJ's eyes got a little teary.. He has been thinking of the future.. Or rather HIS future and he can't imagine it without Maine..

"Sana nga.. sana nga"

Riza hugged her brother, and playfully tugged his ear..

"Iyakin ka talaga eh no! Wala pa nga sa Altar eh!"

Riza joked, RJ smiled and hugged his sister back..

"Ganon talaga kapag mahal mo.. "

He whispered and smiled widely..

"This feeling I have for Maine, will last for a long time.. Sana habang buhay na nga.."

RJ continued, little did they know, their dad was watching them, a knowing smile formed on his lips, just because he knew.. Maine was RJ's missing piece..
