Note: There will be a little blood in this story but not too much.

[AURORAS POV]

Silence. No noise could be heard through out these dreary woods. When did it come to be so quiet? Well, let me enlighten you on why I am lying here in a pool of my own blood thinking if I had done wrong...

*FLASHBACK*

It was two days ago. I, as normal, was in a bright meadow I called home with my best friend Shade. He wasn't what you would call a fan of light places like these. He preferred hiding in the dark out of sight, but he still chose to stay with me. He was the best friend I could ever ask for, until the next day, he snapped.

Yesterday he told me that his dream was to bring shadow to our world. He said he wasn't what you would call 'evil' but instead someone who wanted a physical connection with the world. In his own words: "Those who hide in the darkness can hunt and have protection from predators. Those who lay in the light are vulnerable to those predators. They live happily but still unsafe. I would hate to live in a world like that."

I disagreed. Those who live in the light are far away from predators who hide in the darkness for those very reasons. Then, because of my stupid decision to argue with him, we got into a massive fight.

Did I forget to mention that we were powerful warriors as well? Well, we were, so it wasn't just a little fight. It was a fight with enchanted daggers and swords, magical rods and wands. We fought as if it was to the death. We both then ended up badly injured. That day I swore on my own grave that he would not succeed in bringing darkness to our world and instead light shall rain down forever.
