We're Not in New York Anymore

"AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! OOF!" The boys fell through the sky and landed, not far from the ground, and onto what seemed like a university.
"Where are we?", Leo looked around,
"We're not in Kansas anymore", Donnie said,
"We were in Kansas?! I thought we were in New York!", Mikey panicked. Raph shut him up with a good slap of a hand to the mouth and growled at Mikey as a warning.
"Wherever we are, we gotta find a way back home", Leo said.
"SHELLHEADS UNITE! IT'S GONNA BE THE 31ST ANNIVERSARY OF OUR FAVORITE HEROES AND WE GOTTA BE READY!", the boys heard a nearby rally and deiced to ninja sneak towards the rally,
"LEONARDO! RAPHAEL! DONATELLO! MICHELANGELO!" The crowd of young people cheered and yelled with matching shirts,
"Dudes, they know us!", Mikey said excitedly,
"SHHHH", Leo shushed.
"NY COMIC CON IS A WEEK AWAY! WE GOTTA GET READY WITH COSPLAY! MERCH! GAMES! PRIZES! AND OUR COMIC BOOKS!", the leader of the rally yelled through a megaphone.
"SHELLHEAD DISMISSED!", and with that command, the youth left to pursue their duties.
"Who is that?", Donnie asked. The boys were so curious, they decided to meet the person behind this rally and ask a few questions. They landed just in front of the stage that was used and saw a person turned around, fixing her supplies.
"Hi.",
"Hello, fellow shellhead I ho--", the person was a girl, a girl just as tall as the average height of the boys. She could not believe her eyes, is this cosplay? Mascots? A dream? Holograms? Hallucinations?!
"Are you okay?", Leo got a bit worried,
"Y-you're the TURTLES! AGGGGHHH!", she screamed and cheered but in a split second, the boys covered her mouth and shushed her,
"Do not tell anyone we're here", Leo demanded and she nodded in response.
"You're really here!", she quietly shouted,
"How do you know us?", Raphael was eager to know if she violated their privacy,
"What do you mean?", she was confused.
"HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT US?", Raph asked again,
"I watch your TV Show", she said.
"TV SHOW?" The boys asked in chorus,
"What's wrong?", she asked.
"We're not real?", Mikey looked drained and worried,
"Of course you are! You're standing right here!", she tried to reassure them, "Wait! Did you buy any chance time traveled? Dimension hopped? I know the Kraang have portals to lead to different universes",
"Of course!", Donnie perked, "We're in another universe!", the boys know seemed better and not at all depressed. She was relieved and happy.
"What's your name?", Leo finally asked,
"She's obviously human", Mikey examined her which made her giggle,
"My name's Jassy, my friends call me Jas", she smiled towards Leo.
"I'm Leo--you already know who we are", he reminded himself.
"You guys are my absolute heroes. I've loved you guys ever since I was 13", she said in admiration,
"How old are you know?",
"16", she smiled.
"3 years? You watched us for 3 years?", Donnie was both impressed and quite disturbed.
"All of us watch your show, we love TMNT!",
"Like space heroes?",
"Space Heroes is awesome! I got the merchandise for it!", Jas squealed,
"Merchandise?!", Leo was excited.
"What about Blarknarg the Barbarian?", Mikey asked,
"Of course!", Jas giggled,
"BOOYAKASHA!", Mikey cheered.
"Enough nerding around", Raph snapped at them,
"Do you know where we can get another portal?", Donnie asked the teen female,
"Our time is not as advanced as the Kraang, so we don't have portals, space ships on the street or anything", Jas explained, disappointed.
"What do we do now?", Raph asked, his arms crossed,
"Well, maybe I can whip up a portal generator", Donnie thought,
"Wait! NYU has a research lab with all of the state of the art technology, hard and software ready to use for all those on campus! I could get you guys in", Jas grinned,
"NYU?! We're in NYU?!", Donnie gasped,
"Yeah", she giggled, "We are. I'll take you guys to the lab right now if you want",
"Yes!", Donnie grinned excitedly to be in the top university in New York City, TMNT universe or not. Jassy walked all the boys to the research lab, undetected, unseen and unheard. She took them to the robotics and physics labs where Donnie can start working,
"Mikey, please don't touch anything", Jassy asked super nicely,
"HAHA", Raph mocked Mikey, even in this dimension they don't want him touching anything.
"But you can play with my phone", she offered her iPhone which is filled with the best games,
"Aw yeah!", Mikey began playing away.

About 30 minutes passed and the gang along with their new friend waited for Donnie in the lab and were anxious to get home ASAP. Although, Leo kept glancing towards the little lady who was watching Mikey play. He would sneak looks towards her for some reason, he would give a light chuckle when he saw her laugh with Mikey or cheer as he won more points in his game. Jassy then met his eyes at that instant, he immediately darted his gaze towards Donnie, she giggled and blushed at his actions. He heard her giggle and his gaze softened at the sound of it, he didn't understand this.
"Leo?",
"AGH!", he was startled by the girl he was staring at for the last half hour, "Jas, you uhh..snuck up on me",
"Sorry, I just came to tell you that your hand is in the dirty water sample we got from a public toilet", she informed, he then jerked his hand out of the bowl and looked so disgusted, "Blegh".
"Come on, there's a sink right outside", she said,
"Aren't there other people?", he asked, not wanting to be seen.
"Don't worry, nobody comes here at this time of day and I know you don't want to keep your hand soaked in dirty toilet water",
"Okay then", Leo agreed, the other boys noticed them and watched them leave then now have suspicions. The human and turtle walked down the hallway, on their way to the sink,
"So, Jas, what do you like to do?", Leo needed an ice breaker,
"I do jujitsu and any sport on a board", she smiled at her favorite hero,
"Jujitsu? Do you train?",
"I do, I train every Saturday, if you want, you could come with me and train?",
"Won't people see us? Me?",
"It's my PRIVATE dojo, silly. I wouldn't risk you getting caught", she smirked,
"Thanks for helping me and my brothers", Leo smiled.
"I'm just really happy I got to see my favorite people", her smile was soft and so was her gaze and Leo noticed this and the word "People" played in his mind and how she used it with them instead of "Turtles", "Heroes" (which he wouldn't mind the most), etc. He liked this.
*SMASH!!! CRASH!! CRACK!!* was heard from the lab,
"DONNIE?", Leo looked back and ran back along with Jassy.
