Wanted and missing

Lost

Opening my eyes I sit up and scan my surroundings. Dry sand, wild animals, not one person in sight and the sun shining bright As ever.
"Hello? Anybody there?"
I can't just stand here all day waiting for a rescue. So I hop off the dry ground and start walking.
It's been 2 hours and I'm thirsty.Wait! I see a car coming my way
"Wait! I need a ride!" I shouted.
"Get in" said the stranger. I hoped into the front seat. I looked at him and couldn't tell what he looked like since he was wearing a baseball cap and some sunglasses
"So why are you out in the desert all alone?"
"I don't know.I can't even remember how I got here"
" Damn ma. What state you live in?"
" I live in New York "
"well we're in Arizona"
"What?!"
" Calm down. I'll bring you back to New York " he said a smile.
"So um. What's your name ?"
"William. But you can call me will"
"My name is Melissa. But you can call me Melli"
"Well Melli you should get a bottle of water.You look like you been out there for a while" will insisted as he stopped the car
"yes! Thank you"
"I have a case of water in the trunk".
I got out the car and opened the trunk. The case of water fell out. As I went to pick it up I noticed something unusual in his trunk.
"Drugs! He has dr-"
"be quit!" Will said as he put his hand over my mouth. He quickly put every thing back in the trunk and we both got back in.I didn't say anything because I'm kinda scared of him.
He continued driving then stopped in front of the Mexican border! He got out, opened my door and picked me up. I screamed as loud as I could and banged on his back but he still wouldn't let me go. The end of a very long rope came from the other side of the wall. Will started to climb the rope while I was still on his shoulder. It only took us two minutes to reach the other side but I still wept the whole times. Now I'm even farther from New York. No longer in America.
