Guardians

Chapter 1

Today is another day in the skyworld. I was with Zane and Zeke because the person that I was guardian of was with the other 2 people that Zane and Zeke were guardians of. We were playing around until I saw that Vince was getting attacked. I needed to help him, that's what guardians do, we protect. I jumped down from skyworld to help him. No one knew I was there so this was going to be easy. I ran on a rooftop to where he was and saw a knife being held against his neck. I brought out my sword and jumped down from the roof I was on. "Step away from him if you don't want any trouble." I said with my sword ready. "Look what we have here guys. A little girl. What are you gonna do girly?" The guy said in a mocking tone. "You don't want to mess with me." I said as he started coming towards me. "Maybe we do, girly." he said. As he started reaching for my waist I did a roundhouse kick and knocked them all out in a matter of minutes. Vince stared at me for the longest time and made it a little awkward. "Hey Vince, I'm Luna and you need to come with me." I said, walking towards my apartment with the 16 year old following me. Once a guardian saves their hero that they guard then they have to tell them about the guardians and heroes.

"How do you know my name, Luna?" Vince asked worried about what's going to happen. "Here's the thing, Vince, you have powers like me, but different. Your powers are those of a hero and mine are of those of a guardian." I said, but he just looked at me like I was crazy. "Vince, I am your guardian and you are a hero. Your powers are resources of the earth like water, fire, wind, and, well, earth. I have powers of the same thing, but since I'm a guardian, I can transform into a wolf." I said. I went on with the story of how guardians and heroes are chosen. "So, what you're saying is that I was chosen to be a hero?" he asked. "Yes." I said. "How and when was I chosen?" he asked. Lucky for him I'm the only guardian that knows how he got chosen. "You were chosen when you were 12, but you got your powers when you were 10 after I saved you from a car crash." I said going on with the story.
