allie's p.o.v.

i got really nervous as it was my turn to go up to the front desk and tell the lady my information so i could get my dorm room key.

i took a deep breath and stepped forward with a smile.

"name please?" she said with a smile.

"allison day" i answered.

"nice to meet you allison, you will be in dorm number 307, that's located in building 3" she said as she handed me a key.

"thank you" i gave her a small smile.

"you're welcome, if you need anything let me know, have a nice day" she said.

"thank you, you too" i said. i started to walk to my dorm and then i realized that maybe i should've asked who my roommate was. not that i know anyone here so it doesn't really matter.

i stuck the key in the door and slowly turned it. i stepped in and it looks like i'm the first one here. it was just like any other dorm room. 2 beds, 2 nightstands in the middle separating them, one bathroom, 2 small desks on each side, a closet, a tv, etc. i placed my bags down on the bed to the right. i looked out the window and we actually had a great view of the campus. i cannot wait to go out and walk around. i wonder what my roommate is like. i hope she's nice & we become good friends. i'm honestly kind of nervous to meet my roommate. what if she doesn't like me, what if she's one of those creepy roommates, what if- my thoughts were cut off when i heard keys jiggling in the door. this is it. wow i'm so nervous i really hope she- wait what? I got really confused when the person behind the door wasn't a nice girl but a guy. a really attractive one.

"hi, i'm alex" he said with a smile. wow his smile is so cute. and he has dimples. wait, my roommate is a guy? i didn't even know that was allowed!

"hi, i'm allison" i said shyly. i don't know this guy and i don't know if i'm comfortable with this.

"nice to meet you, so i guess we're roommates" he smirked, showing me that his key also said 'room 307'. he walked over to the empty bed and plopped his stuff down. before i could say anything, a short girl barged into our room.

"alex oh my gosh my roommate is actually so nice she-" she noticed me and stopped mid-sentence.

"hey leah, this is my roommate allison, allison this is leah, my little sister" he said wrapping an arm around her.

"shut up, i'm only younger by three minutes" she said as she unwrapped his arm from her and walked over to me. "you're so pretty, you're too pretty to be his roommate" she said laughing a little.

"hey!" alex yelled from the other side.

"what? i'm not lying" she said smiling at me. "this is so cool, we're gonna be best friends" she said.

"what if she doesn't wanna be friends with you?" alex said.

"i'd love to be friends with you" i smiled at leah as she stuck her tongue out to her brother.

"haha, now excuse you while me and my new friend go out and explore the campus" she said as she latched her arm with mine. i gave alex a small smile as we walked out of the dorm. leah really looked a lot like alex. she had the same dark brown hair and icy blue eyes. they both had high cheekbones and he had the nicest jawline ever.

"so how about we go to my room and grab my roommate and then we can go walk around campus for a little?" leah smiled.

"sure" i said and we both walked together to her dorm. she knocked on the door and a girl with dirty blonde hair opened the door.
