The girl sat there as she admired the rain. She didn't care if she was cold or if her clothes got wet. She just cared about the peace she felt at the moment. It all happened in a blur. She waited for her love. Almost half a year of her life she wasted. In the end the girl she loved had a boyfriend. She was soon forgotten by her own love. She didn't know why things like this always happened to her, they just did.

She pulled up the hood on her jacket, making her face hard to see. She was so broken. She was so lost. She's been abandoned so many times that she couldn't handle the pain anymore. This is how she wanted her finally goodbye, when the world is at its ultimate beauty.

Dim lights shown throughout the small town in the distance as she heard the water move underneath her. The town that didn't accept her. The town that she moved to in the third grade. She still remembered the city she lived in and the avenue she lived on. They were perfect times. She would do anything to go back to being that happy little girl.

The last place she was to look was the sky. She always wanted the sky to be the last thing she saw. It was beautiful. It was her escape from reality. She smiled as the stars shined brightly, even more beautiful than she last remembered. She took one last breath with a smile on her face as she slipped off the edge. She saw the bridge get farther and father away as the stars gleamed in the background.

She finally felt at peace as her body hit the water, securing her death.

It was over. She was gone. She no longer struggled with life.

She was finally happy.
