Chapter 1:Debriefing

Alex's POV

" Alexei Everbloom, report to Commands immediately. Alexei Everbloom, report to Commands immediately!!! "

Sigh, What do they want from me now....

But before all this, I need to introduce myself.

I'm Alexei Everbloom, but you can call me Alex.

I'm 16, love black veil brides, and.... I have powers, lunar powers

I'm part of a military group called Next Gen, created after the lunar invasion of 2020.

My friends are Wolfie, Phoenix, Mica, Uni, DaMarcus,Roren,Brianna,and Natasha.

I tend to stay away from people, because of my powers.

But my friends understand me better, because they have powers of their own.

My heart's pounding as I enter Commands. Only to see Commander Darius sitting on a conference table , along with 5 other people, Captain Rosen,my training officer. Master Chief Snow, my executive officer, who keeps me in check, and others who I've seen around but don't know.

"You wanted to see me, Commander?"

"Yes,yes Ms. Everbloom. I've come to tell you about your mission. You're very famous around the board..."

He pulls out his M.C tablet and shows holographic memories of my past missions. While I watch the officers stare in awe at the holographs.

" So, What's the mission Commander?"

This time it was Captain Rosen's turn to speak," Well, Alex. As you know, General Derc's reign over Egypt has gotten out of hand. We need you and your team to stop him before it's too late."

"Wait, what team? I work alone."

But she ignored me, " Your team members will be Soldiers Roren, Micaela, Phoenix, Unicornin, Brianna, DaMarcus, Stephen, Grayson,and his brother Jacob."

My body takes a blow with each name said. My friends....

"You can't do this to them,they have family. And I prefer to work alone. A-L-O-N-E."

One of the officers speak," It's been decided, there's nothing we or you can do. I'm sorry."

"Like hell, you are..."

"Soldier Everbloom, you will speak respectfully to your officers. Understood?"

"Sigh, Yes,sir..."

"Good, here are your tickets. Good luck, Soldier."

I take the tickets and run to my room and slam the door.

I'm going back to Egypt, but this time not for vacation.
