Dripping rain descends

It pours, cleansing my skin

Tears shed

I can't deny

For I want something

A true companion, a true ally

For I am never ever

Love, I can't live without

I asked God for a memory

He gave me a moment

He giving me a moment

A moment in time

I asked God for a pedal

He gave me a white rose

To smell

To hold on to

To wanting

I wanting

To wanting, I wanting forevermore

I asked God for an angel

To reminiscent

To befriend

Pure light showing, friendship glowing, it lit aglow

It lighting my world (Yes) No longer do I

No longer do I feel alone

So he gave me you, he gave me this

An angel, a friend, a true ally

For no matter what, for no matter what

To what is heard or said

My friend is one of the best

For my friend, I already know

That my friend is the one

That along with the friendship
