Chapter 1: Mysterious guy

Olivia's POV:

It is one of those wintry nights in the city of London. It wasn't snowing, it's just the cold wind hitting my pale skin and sends shivers down my spine. Wandering in the streets of London was relaxing. The city lights are the only source of light but as time flies it lessens, only the moon and the stars up in the sky illuminating, the lamp post on the pavements, and shops that are still open but anytime they're going to close . I smile, I've been captivated by it's beauty. I don't know why this have been my hobby, I've been doing this for the past few weeks. I often do this whenever I'm dealing with my problems or sometimes I just really want to go for a walk. I look down at my watch and it says 1:30 AM. I sigh my breath forming into a swirl of mist. "I guess I'll have to go home then" I thought to myself and started heading to the direction to my flat.

*fast forward*

On my way back to my flat, I feel like someone's following me from the distance so I turn my head around to see... nothing. That's weird... I thought to myself and shrug of these thoughts. After a few minutes I felt it again. I feel like someone's really following me so I stop in my tracks and turn around to see a tall man wearing all black standing with his head down. Is he following me? If he is, why? Is he a stalker? several questions keep running in my head. I started taking a few steps forward still eyeing the mysterious guy. He didn't move, he's just there standing with his head bowed down. I started running since I'm near to my flat now because I can see it from here so I kept running and running 'til I reach my flat. I got inside and lock the door quickly, pressing my back on the door gasping for air. When my breathing got back to normal, I took off my coat and threw it somewhere else. I head straight to my bedroom and got dressed in my sleeping attire and plopped on my bed. I was gazing at the ceiling when I feel a stinging sensation on my left cheek. I caress it and it made me flinch so I got up and check myself at the mirror. There was a hand mark plastered on my left cheek! My heart started beating really fast from anxiety and my mind in confusion. Suddenly a scenario started playing.

*the scene*

there's this girl with long brown hair and brown eyes walking holding an umbrella on her right hand and a book on her left. Then a girl with short silverish hair and brown eyes come up to her with a smirk plastered on her face. Alongside with her are two girls, one with short black hair and green eyes and the other one with wavy brown hair and blue eyes with smirks plastered on their faces which caught the girl with long brown hair's attention so she looked up seeing the three glaring at her. The girl with long hair seems annoyed of their presence.

"what do you want?" she asked.

"I just want to say hello to the princess who tried to steal my boyfriend" the girl with silverish hair said.

"What do you mean steal your boyfriend?"

"I saw you two talking to each other awhile ago and I can see the way you look at him"

"I'm not flirting with your boyfriend Cat!"

"I don't believe you, pathetic!"

Cat said and slap the girl with long hair. Cat laughed along with her friends and started walking away. The princess I believe caressed her cheek which made her flinch just like what I did awhile ago. Tears started rolling down her cheeks, she rubbed them off and started walking away.

*the end of the scene*

I got back from reality and found myself looking at the mirror with red puffy eyes while tears rolling down my cheek from...crying? Did I just cry? What's happening to me? I sigh in frustration and walk my way to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I grabbed a glass of water and drank it until it was empty hoping that would make me calm which worked. I went back to my bedroom and plopped on my bed. I let out a long sigh once again and stared at the ceiling for awhile thinking about how tough and strange my day was. I felt my eyes getting heavier so I close my eyes and slowly drifted into a deep slumber.

Hey guys sorry if the very first chapter is short and I will try updating the story on weekends since that's the only time I can use the internet for a long period of time. I hope you guys like my very first fanfic. Bye!
