The flakes of snow nestled into my hair and lashes. The cold wrapped around me, gently whipping my hair.

My feet placed deep marks in the white ground. A shadow of a person follows behind me, copying my exact movements and tracks.

My cold hands are protected by a thick cloth of mittens, and shake on the grip of my bow.

I hear the putter to my right. My head zips in the direction, the sudden attack of whiplash striking me.

The deer stands there on all fours. The snow gently slips off its arched back as it searches for sound. It's eyes skim past me, as if I'm in unseen ghost.

I carefully flick out an arrow, and place it on my bow. I don't removed my bow from the deers direction, and slowly get my weapon in position.

The deer bends down, it's nuzzle searching through the thick snow covering the ground.

I hold the string of the bow against my face, the arrow resting on it. I aim the tip directly in the position it has to go, right at the deers throat.

I narrow my eyes as the deer continues to sniff at the snow, not noticing my presence. I take a final deep breath, and shoot the arrow, exhaling the puff of cold air.

It hits the deer dead on. It squeals and tries to run, but from extreme blood loss and intense cold, it begins to limp, then stumble to a halt, and drop.

I bring the bow back down away from my face, and walk over to the deer.

It creates a ripple across the snow from where it's collapsed. I stare at it as the blood trickles from its slit throat.

I look down at my hands, studying the scars permanently graved in them.

A small circle sits in the middle of my right palm, from my bullet wound. I have cuts from my wire jumping and crawling. I have three scratches across my arm from when I got scratched by a tree. My shoulder still loves those scars I received from that beloved infected.

I was smothered in memories.

As the cold began to get angry I put my bow in my bag and had empty hands. I grabbed both of the deers legs and began dragging it through the snow.

Two months of this routine. One month of snow.

Ever since our major attack, we'd been staying here in silence. It's been two months since the attack, but to me, it feels like yesterday.

Everything was still so vivid in my mind, the lady burning to death, the man I shared eye contact with, Dylan carrying me.

It was all so vivid yet all so faint.

Juliet's been having nightmares. Every night. It's so horrible to watch, that now she sleeps in a different place and someone is always with her, that's usually minho.

It took about a five minute walk back to the house, but those five minutes are usually wasted by the reoccurring thoughts.

As I reach the house which is a snow castle, Jordan walks out in his warm clothing.

"You look like you're about to go skiing." I laugh as he walks towards me.

He has a cute smile on his face and his cheeks are red.

"Well good morning to you too." He smirks, helping me pick up the frosted deer.

We carrying it inside and into the kitchen. Erin is in there making something with the medicines.
