Opposites Attract

School

Angela's pov

While I'm trying to find a parking space I spot Jane at the school's front gate. She doesn't seem too excited for the first day of school.

After I find a parking space I make my way to Jane. We both have the same exact classes so we start walking to Math.

While we're walking I ask Jane "Aren't you excited?"
She responds sarcastically" Yes, I'm so excited for lessons, homework and annoying teachers"
I tell her " But aren't you excited that we're going to meet up with the gang again. Jake, Emily,Neil and Maya are probably really excited too."
She responds in defeat" I guess you have a point there. Anyway let's just drop this and hurry up because we'll be late for Math. Not that I'm complaining."
I then say "Fine"

During the other three lessons which were English, Geography and Biology, Jane and I didn't have much time to speak. But then it was time for lunch.

We made our way to our usual table were we found Jake and Maya waiting for us. We sat down and we were blown away by questions, such as "How are you?" , "What's new?" and "What did you do during the holidays?"

Maya is one of the people in our group. She is very pretty, a cheerleader like me and she also has rich parents. Maya has tanned skin, brown hair and hazel eyes. On the other hand Jake was more like Jane, he didn't come from a very rich family. The only thing Jake and Jane weren't alike in was that Jake is full of self confidence and Jane is very shy. He is quite handsome and all the girls wanted to be his girlfriend but none of them ever got a chance. He has green eyes and blonde hair.

After a few minutes Emily, Neil and some guy I have never seen before enter the cafeteria and sit at our table. There was a moment of awkward silence but then I broke it by asking " So whose the new guy?"
He answered and said " My name is Hayden and I'm a new student. Neil was showing me around and said that I could come and eat with you guys."
Then I said " Welcome to the group, I'm Angela, these are Jane,Maya and Jake and obviously you already met Neil and Emily."

Emily has a great personality and she is also very pretty. She has blonde hair and green eyes. Neil has brown hair and blue eyes. Hayden has brown hair and he has brown eyes. He looks like a badboy and a player like Jake so I decided to keep my distance but let me tell you it was going to be hard because he was really hot.

Everyone started talking about the holidays and before we knew it the bell rang. Me and Jane had found out that we didn't have all our classes together so we parted our ways. The new kid had the same class as me so I agreed to walk him to class.
