Unfair

Emma was already down the stairs when she realized her dad wasn't following her.
"Chicken." She grumbled as she started looking for her mom. She found her sitting on her bed looking dazed.
"Mom ?" Emma asked softly and she looked over to her with a small smile.

"Hey Em." She whispered gesturing for Emma to come sit by her. Emma smiled as she sat down with a grin.
"What're you thinking about?" Emma questioned and Snow smiled pulling Emma close.
"You." She whispered and Emma pulled back a little.

"Are you still mad that I disobeyed you?" Emma asked quietly and Snow sighed.
"I am Emma but not as much." She whispered making Emma smiled but their moment was ruined by fast knocks on their door.

Snow jumped up and pulled the door open.
"Red what're you doing?" Snow asked and Red was panting heavily.
"Someone's attacking the town!!" She exasperated and Snow frowned.

"David!!!" She yelled and her husband raced down instantly.
"Lead the way Red." He exclaimed and she nodded and Emma started to follow but Snow turned grabbing her shoulders.

"Stay here Emma!" She insisted and Emma frowned.
"But I wanna help."
"You're helping by staying right here. So sit tight we'll be back soon ." Snow instructed as she rushed out the door with David and Red.

Emma scowled they were being so unfair. She sighed starting to sit when someone knocked on the door Emma frowned wondering if she should answer.
