I can't take another disappointment
Hiding behind these false eyes
To see a lesson never learned
I still fall for the lies
Drinking it all away
So I can't feel the pain anymore
Tears staining my cheeks
Must make me look so fucking weak
All I can do is stand up and scream
Hoping for someone, somewhere to hear
Praying it will be okay
Through sins and self-destruction
I'll find a home
Buried beneath the bottom of a bottle
I guess I'll never learn
Until the cigarettes stops hurting
And the whiskey stops burning
It's simply never going to happen
It is all just a lesson never learned
