Let it rain

Let the trickling droplets calm my nerves

Let it rain

Let the roar of thunder express my anger

Let it rain

Let the flash of lightning be a token of hope

Cutting through the storm with brilliant light

But vanishing too quickly

Let it rain

Let the cold mist fog my memory

ridding it of all the thoughts that could drive one insane

Let it rain

Let the water from heaven wash away all the pain
