Wanna Come Over

After school I watched as Haru turned a corner, the whole day had been great. Everyone seemed to love Haru, and a group of boys hated him. I told Haru that they hated everything and to brush it off. I threw my stuff into my locker and shut it hearing a commotion. I walked around the locker bay and there was Haru, he was shaking. The group of boys we met earlier stood around him. There leader Jake walked up to Haru and punched him in the stomach, he held it in pain spitting blood. 

"T-That's g-going to b-b-be b-bruise for a w-while" Haru said softly, Jake laughed and went in again, I yelled

"YOU BACK OFF" I screamed running to Haru's side "You will pay for this" I growled at Jake and Haru's ears were flattened against his head, I immediately felt bad for Haru and thought of something quickly "hey Haru do you want to come over to my house" I asked

"Sure, just do you have any dogs, I am not very fond of dogs" Haru said

"No my family is allergic to dogs" I replied

"Okay" Haru said and we headed out to the bus lot, I got on my bus and the bus driver greeted me

"Good afternoon Y/n" She said and I nodded back

"Good afternoon" I replied and headed to the back of the bus. Haru followed close behind his cat ears turning every which way. He sat with me and a small girl named Aria. Who was obsessed with cats, she lit up when she saw Haru.

"Y/n who is this" she asked and I giggled

"This is Haru," I said

"Is he a real kitty" Aria asked 

"Yes" I replied "But be gentle I am afraid he got into a little trouble and is in a lot of pain" I said and Aria nodded, she wouldn't be rough anyway I just needed to hear it from her, Haru sat down and down, a small hand reached out and touched his ear making him jump

"I'm sorry I really wanted to see if your ears were soft" Aria admitted and I put Aria in my lap. She reached out a hand scratching behind Haru's ears and scratching, he purred. Aria giggled and began to scratch all over Haru's head making him purr more loudly. The bus started to move and we were off, the bus rolled down the road, I was one of the first stops. I looked out the window as Aria pet Haru, snowflakes began to fall. I smiled, I loved snow, the bus stopped and let a few kids off. Then we drove down the road again. We didn't go far before it was my stop.

"Haru this is my stop" I said and we both got up

"Bye bye Mr. Haru" Aria said "Bye Y/n" she added and we both waved getting off the bus. I breathed in some cold air and regretted it, my nose began to sting a little and my eyes watered. Haru looked at the snowflakes and began to paw at the air, he meowed and swung a few more times

"Haru come on we will play in the snow later we have to get home" I said and Haru nodded catching up with me

"The cold air makes my tummy feel better" Haru said

"That's good" I said and I pointed to a blue house up the road a little "That is my house"

"Pretty" Haru said and we walked towards the house and finally made it to the porch. I typed in the code to open my door and let Haru in. There was a note taped to the tv, I closed the door behind me and took off my coat, I headed over to the tv and took the note off

Dad and I have to go take a business trip we will be back tomorrow we are in Tacoma, there is food in the fridge and your violin lessons will be postponed to Sunday, you may have one friend over, no parties, I expect you to do your homework too

"Cool" I said and Haru looked at me

"What" he asked

"Oh my parent's aren't going to be home 'till tomorrow" I said and looked in the fridge, a plate of pizza with saran wrap on it "Nice" I muttered and closed the fridge, I went and sat on the couch, Haru followed me and climbed into my lap. He purred and I scratched behind his ears and he purred. I giggled, he looked cute this way, I layed my head down and turned so I could lay down, Haru shifted and got up so he was laying on my chest. I blushed and watched him sleep, until I myself drifted off.
