Chapter 2 | Responsibility

               Genos caught the woman in his arms before she could earn any more damage. "Miss are you ok?" Genos asked the seemingly unconscious woman in his arms. He heard a blood curdling scream from the monster and something wet dropping everywhere. 'Ah master must be done!' he thought to himself smiling as he went towards that direction with you still in his hold, but only this time he held you 'Bridal Style'.

               Once he got to his destination, he saw his master whipping off his hands in a 'clapping' matter. "Master did you finish it off?" Genos asked. "Well what do you think!" Saitama shouted back. Of course it was clear of what the results were, though Genos felt it was appropriate to start the conversation off with that simple question. Genos knitted his eyes together feeling ashamed for being so foolish in front of his role model. 

                Saitama turned to Genos, getting a better look at him and the woman he was carrying. "Who's the babe?" Saitama asked, giving Genos his full attention. "Oh, she fell into me, so I felt like it was my responsibility to keep her safe until the monster was defeated." Saitama frowned, "Well it's gone now, why not put her down somewhere safe?" Genos stiffened only slightly, "But master, she's injured. We need to get her first aid." Saitama walked up to Genos to examine the woman he held in his arms. He followed the stream of blood up to her forehead and lifted her banged up to see the slight bump and the open cut underneath. "Lets bring her back, it's not enough to haul her into a hospital for. We can give her first aid at the apartment and let her go once she says she's fine." Saitama told Genos while beginning to walk towards their home.

             Genos pulled the covers up to her chin and set the ice pack upon her bruised head. Her forehead had been neatly wrapped up by Saitama, and being the gentleman he is, he let her occupy his bed. Saitama washed his suit while Genos stayed by the sleeping figure monitoring her, feeling that keeping an eye on her status was his responsibility right from the get go. Her stirring caught his attention, you stretched one arm after another feeling comfortable in the covers that were given to you. Not knowing where you were, with not the slightest care in the world, you rolled onto the other side not even caring when the icepack fell in front of your face. feeling bliss, your moment was interrupted by a slightly familiar voice.

              "Miss your awake!" You opened your eyes feeling annoyed, amazingly not a single thought of 'where am I?' hit you until you saw his face. "Wait, what?" You said softly sitting up, you rubbed your eyes waiting for a response. "You're at my master's apartment, we fixed up your injury and... Well thats pretty much it." You didn't really care, you lost your fucks the minute you awoke the morning before your hunt. You looked around the apartment with lazy eyes.

                Saitama walked out of the bathroom in his  casual clothes. "Oh, she's awake." You turn your body towards him. "Who's the baldy?" "MY NAMES NOT BALDY! It's saitama!"  He bursted out with rage. The sudden outrage gave you goose bumps, and surprised you only momentarily, before you remembered your 'no fucks allowed' rule. You think for only a moment. "Hey can I live here with you?" "Absolutely not." You paused at this trying to think of a way to persuade him. "I have a job that pays me minimum wage, it's not much but I'm able to help with re-" "Deal" He snapped suddenly obliged, you were amazed at how easy and simple this man was.
