Sage Ástríðr (Astrid) Eklund Journal Entry #8732. December 11, 2015.

To Aiko and Dragon Ryuu(My Dear Journal Cover friends):

When I was younger

my Mother would ponder

she was lonely

I was her only

child

At stores I wished for toys

but she said there were greater things in life

But I couldn't find anything worth that right

so I took her hand and I didn't understand

what she meant by those words

until that day...

NOW this was not the day my mom died or I fell in love or I accepted Jesus (I have already done that and it did change my life...) but something small and something many people don't seem to realize... the day I realized, what I am and what I needed...

Cause sometimes you forget

filled with loss and regret

never knowing where to go

hoping soon you'll find the road

yes "Lord I find you in the seeking

Lord I find you in the doubts" (- "How I need you" by All Sons and Daughters)

I didn't realize how close you where

till I opened my blind eyes

and you let them see

that I am a child of God

that I am a freed slave

once bound to sin

now free to live

Thank you for revival once again

Okay so let me explain... As a said previously when I was younger my mom would always say things like "There are more important things in life" and I didn't understand. I never talked much as a child... or now. I am a silent person. I end up hiding my "emotions" and don't bother much with myself. My parents always taught me to put others in front of me. My mom was kind of like me when she was young too. I think she saw that in me. She saw everything through the blank expressions I gave. So I've learned to express... but there is more. Let's just say this is going to be a long story but I got to go do homework so I'll write later! TTFN Tata for now Aiko and Ryuu!
