Linked in a way//Yukine x reader//

First date?

"I thought you were following (name) for other reasons, you even gave up stalking Hiyori for this", Yukine said. 

"Geez, Yukine everytime..." Yato huffed out. 

"Stop stalking young highschool girls, its creepy", Yukine pointed out.

"It's not like you're much better, you followed me cause you wanted to see if (name) was okay". Yukine glared at Yato, he looked away blushing a little.

"Okay, I get it, just tell me the real reason why you guys are here", you questioned again.

"Okay fine, I didn't want to say anything since you might get anxious", he said, "There seems to be something suspicious about that Tooru guy". He pulled you into the bushes. The three of you gathered into a circle.

"What do you mean? you two seem to be the most suspicious here" you commented. Yato went on ignoring you and your rude remark.

"There's just something off about him", he said glancing at Tooru. He still hasn't noticed your disappearance.

'Do any of his friends notice that I'm gone, this makes me question my existence...'  

 "Haven't you been having that feeling as well, like something just seems wrong", Yato asked you. To be honest, you did think something was up with him but you had just ignored it thinking maybe you were just tired. But then it was different now, even Yato noticed it.

"Maybe I'm just thinking to deep into it, anyways, hurry up and go there, they might be worried about you disappearing", Yato said, he pushed you out of the bush. You stood up and tidied yourself before walking back to the group.

'Yato might be right, I should keep my guard up'

"I feel kind of hungry, do you all want to grab something to eat?" you asked, smiling. Everyone agreed cheerfully.  

You arrived at an rather expensive looking restaurant. Everyone walked in happily. An waitress hands us all an menu. You opened it and looked through the dishes

'Well there goes all my money, why am I doing this again...'

You peeked over the top of your menu observing the others. Everyone was giving each other suggestions on which dish to try. You sighed.

'Must be great to have money'

"So (name) what are you getting", you looked up to see Ren talking to you. 

"I'll just have this", you laughed quietly pointing towards a option.

"600 yen. that's the cheapest out of the whole menu, did you spend all your money on clothes or do you work as a cleaner", he joked. The urge to punch his face was great. You bit your bottom lip and closed your eyes trying to hold in your anger. Slowly you opened them again, your eyes searched for the two stalkers. You spot them at a another table about 3 meters away. Yato turns to see your annoyed face, he flinches a little before giving you a confused look. You widened your eyes pointing towards the menu. He opens up his menu still confused at what you were trying to express. Finally he looks up smiling, giving you a thumbs up and then looking away.

"Ah, I need to visit the lavatory, I'll be back soon", you said politely before getting out of your chair. You walk casually to Yato, slapping the menu away from his hand,

"You're paying for everything that I order", you whisper quietly before walking into the toilets. You step out again after a few moments heading back to your table. You look over to Yato to see his response. He held up a sign.

'too expensive, evacuate now, evacaute, EVACUATE'

You shook your head, an innocent smile still sitting on your face. Yato held up another sign.

'I'll be spending way more then five yen which is what he paid me, EVACUATE'

You look away opening the menu again.

"I'll be having this instead", you said pointing to the menu again. Ren looks at what you were ordering.

"4000 yen...", he shrinks back into his seat. You smirk at him before checking what Yato was doing. He wasn't sitting their anymore, it was only Yukine alone. You question Yukine where he went with your expressions. He shrugs his shoulder before going back to drink his ice water.

After ordering everything you sit there quietly drinking your cup of water. Soon enough you see your food coming. You smile, imagining how expensive food must taste. Yato pours salt all over the dish. Your eyes widen to see what he was doing. You glare at him, signalling him to get lost. He doesn't, instead he smiles at you with a satisfied look. Slowly the waiter places the dishes down, the one that Yato messed with was placed in front of Ren.

'pfft' you held in your laughter, trying to stop yourself from laughing with triumph 

His satisfied face soon turns into a fearful expression. Another waitress begins to place the rest of the food your group had ordered. As she was about to give you yours. Yato flips it out of her hand. Tears streaming down his face.

"You're never going to get your food!" he crys out quietly to you before running away. His tears hitting you on your face. You wipe your face with disgust before turning back to your situation

"W-what happened?" the waitress looking around confused. The food had fallen all over Tooru's friends. Ren looks up from his food, finally realizing something had happened. Soon enough he spits all the food he had ate.

"Agh, why's it so salty", he exclaims in disgust. 

"My designer dress is all ruined now, who cares if your food is salty", Yuko exclaims standing up trying to wipe herself down. You try hold in your laugh again.

'you all deserved it'

Everything was in a mess. Everyone were complaining to each other about what had happened. You sat there staring blankly into the distance 

'Ahhh, it's not funny anymore....I'm going home'

You stood up and walked over to Yukine who was looking at the commotion happening at your table. He slowly drifted to face you.

"Let's go, it's getting boring", you said. He nods agreeingly before standing up and walking out the entrance with you.

Ahaha, I kind of dropped the story but now I'm picking it up again... Im sorry for not updating, very very sorry. :(
