(Saika's POV)
The fire... It wouldn't stop burning. Flames licking at the bare skin of my body as I screamed in agony. I dove trough the smoke filled air in search of my pack. After all we had been through they could not have been killed by this! I wont belive it!
Howling, i desprately called out to the others but only heared a small whimper in reply. Darting through the flames I saw our packs smallest pup this year. "Kai..." i breathed out her name and jumped to grab her as the next tree fell. Yanking her from harms-way I carried her to the river nearby and dove in as the blackness overtook me.
