I couldn't breathe, it hurt too much and the searing pain of the branding iron on my bare back took my breath away. I had to do something, something helpful, or something that could somehow alert Michael if he is still alive. I arched my back holding onto the worn cloth straps that hung from the contraption I was at till I broke but, I was like my mother Noma, a warrior, belligerent, headstrong, cold hearted. I would do anything to protect our baby, keep him safe no matter the costs.

I gripped the cloth tighter arching my back as I cried out.
"I'll never tell you, " I spat panting sweat coating my face, "bastard!"
"You'll have to eventually.." Gabriel said.
I laughed weakly.
"Never..." I hiss feeling the heat hovering on my back when he thrusted it into the small of my back, making me cry out again falling to my knees.
"How about umm...now?" Gabriel said.
"Never..." I snarled still holding the cloth tightly looking up towards the heavens muttering.
"Michael..." I say quietly, "Michael please.."
