The sound of Amazing world of gumball filled the car as I stared out the window of my brother's charger. The car was filled with tension and hostile energy from my brother's decisions.

"I told you that street shit was gone go two ways, prison or six feet under Leon." I broke the silence.

He stares at me from his parietal vision gripping the steering wheel.

"You're not telling me nothing I don't already know....I did that for us." He mumbled his eyes still on the road.

"You could've stopped." I looked down at my nails. I tuck my lips in my mouth knowing it's not that easy to leave the game especially how deep he was in. I was really just talking out of anger

"You don't think I tried? I was in too deep and they were on nut shit. Look, we're here in Cali for a new start."

I sigh as he pull into the driveway of our new house. I stare in admiration the house was beautiful and bigger compared to our one in Atlanta

He parks the car, immediately Angel and I jump out the car walking up the house. "Daddy it's so pretty." Angel smiled.

Leon smiles unlocking the door, the house was decorated  nicely. I surprised at how pretty it was

"Let's look at y'all rooms."

Me and Angel run upstairs to her room it was nicely decorated in a Barbie dream house theme that Angel fell in love with. We walk across the hall to my room.

I smile flopping down on my bed. "It's so soft."

"I'm glad you like it that bed was 2k and extra for that expensive ass mattress and covers." Leon chuckled.

"Thank you bubba I really appreciate it." I smiled as he sat next to me.

"We gone enjoy our time and live our best life out here in Cali I promise."

"I like it already no negativity I'm jus' sad I had to leave Lexi." I looked down playing with my fingers

"You can visit her on breaks, I already enrolled you in school you start Monday."

I rolled my eyes at the thought of school "what's it called?"

"Venice high school not too far from here." He stood.

I nod my head as my phone chimes the words Lexi flashing across my screen I immediately answer.

"Hey girl y'all finally made it?" I know that was a long ass drive."

"Definitely my butt and legs was started to hurt Angel slept most of the way." I looked around my room

"Do you like your new house."

"Girl yes this bitch is niceeeee." I smiled into the camera.

I show her around the house and continuing talking to her until I felt sleepy from the ride.

"Alright sis I'm bout' to wash my ass and go to sleep."

"Alright girl make sure you call me tomorrow."

"I will goodnight love you."

"Love you more." The phone call ends. I walk to the bathroom connected to my room taking a quick shower. I get out lotion my body and get dressed in a t-shirt and shorts. I lay down thinking about school.

I have to start all over again and meet new people. I continue being lost in my thoughts until I fall asleep
