The Deal

*42* - Final

(Ryder) "Sarah was very important to Sky and wished I'd met her but unfortunately, I didn't get the chance. So, I thought it would be nice to honor her memory like that."

I smile and he smiles back to me.

(Tony) "It's a wonderful decision." - he smiles.

(Jake) "Yeah and I have to admit, bro, you're in the wrong business. You should be a designer." - he jokes.

(Ryder) "You wished you had my skills." - he smirks proudly.

(Brook) "Yeah, it's true."

Jake raises his eyebrow in annoyance at her.

(Skylar) "Can we eat? I'm starving..." - I ask Ryder.

He chuckles and nods. We all climb down the stairs and everyone sits by the table while Ryder gets the tray of the lasagna. He places it in the middle and sits down next to me on the end of the table.

(Tony) "Before we start eating, I'd like to say a few words."

Everyone looks at him.

(Tony) "I want to thank you all for staying beside me. For always fighting, no matter the circumstances..." he looks at Ryder. - "For making my two boys the happiest men alive..." - he looks at me and Brook. - "And last but certainly not least, for giving me a second chance." - he looks at Anne.

Ryder, Brook, Jake and I look at them with wide eyes but they just keep smiling to each other.

(Jake) "Are you serious?!" - a smile starts growing on his lips.

Anne nods and Brook looks at them with a frown.

(Brook) "Does this make us brother and siblings?" - she points to her and Jake.

Jake makes a disgusted face.

(Ryder) "Half-siblings, possibly..."

Brook's eyes widen at Jake.

(Jake) "You know we're not real siblings, right?"

(Brook) "Yeah... but... it still feels weird..."

(Anne) "Sweetheart, you just have to get used to the idea."

Brook sighs and rubs her forehead.

(Tony) "You're not happy?" - he asks a little disappointed.

(Brook) "I am but everything just feels awkward."

Jake puts his hand on top of hers.

(Jake) "They're together... And they're happy and that's the most important thing. You and I are together and happy too, no matter what. We just have to be happy and not think about the siblings' part, because we're not. We'll be alright."

She smiles at him and he kisses her cheek.

(Skylar) "Don't get me wrong but I have baby to feed and she'll kick me if I don't."

Everyone laughs and Ryder puts some food on my plate.

We're now playing Pictionary and we teamed up according from the couples.

Maybe I should've picked another partner...

(Skylar) "What the hell is that?"

He looks at me annoyed and draws some sort of cylinder next to the first draw, which I'm still trying to figure out what it is. He draws a circle on the bottom and it kind of makes it look like a hat.

(Skylar) "A hat?" - I raise my eyebrow.

He nods frantically and draws an arrow from the first draw to the second.
