Chapter 24

Continuing on... next day after the birthday.

I set up the camera secretly. Sam went out with dad and I decided to secretly record a video of Undertale, a game that mom and dad always talk about. I start up the game on my new laptop and begin recording. "Heya guys, it's Spirit here and today, I'll be playing Undertale-" I'm cut off by mom screaming. "Shit, shit, Spirit!!" I stop the camera and yell "Yeah?" Mom takes a deep breath "Call Sam, your dad can't be assed taking his phone anywhere!" I check our room for my phone and call Sam. "Hey Spirit, what-" I cut Sam off. "Mom wants to talk to dad!" Sam gives dad the phone. "Spirit, are you okay??" I tell dad mom wants him and give mom the phone.

**YOUR POV**

"S-Sean, M-Melody can't breathe, I don't know what to do... she's screaming like crazy and... and..." I can't manage to finish my sentence and start crying. "Shit, I'll be right home. Just stop crying, it'll be fine."
**5 minutes later**
"Oh my god, is she okay?! Who the fuck stabbed her?!" Sean yells. "I-I don't know! I just woke up and heard Ava shout that there was a weird woman in her room and when I went in, she was like this!" Ava hugs Sean and cries. "D-daddy, some scary person was in my room!" Sean comforts her and sits her down. "Ava, what did the person look like?" Ava looks at Sean with wide, tear filled eyes. "She had purple hair and a pink hoodie... she had really scary blue eyes. S-she looked like Melody's mommy." Sean grabs his phone. "(Y/N), I'm calling the cops. I think Serena broke in."

**Back to Spirit**
I sit on my bed and hug my pillow tightly. Sam knocks on the door and I weakly tell him to come in. "You okay Spirit?" I shake my head. "S-Serena, Melody's mom, broke in and s-stabbed Melody..." Sam rolls his eyes. "Yeah r-r-right!" He stutters as he hears dad calling someone. I open the door slightly. "Hello, police? Yeah, I think my ex girlfriend broke into my house. The problem is that she stabbed my daughter! No, I'm not lying. My wife just called me to tell me that our daughter had been stabbed, I'm actually scared she's out to kill my family! She's called Serena West, now please help!" I listen closer and hear mom, who is also on the phone, but to the hospital.

**a few hours later...**

"Your daughter is lucky to be alive, Mr and Mrs McLoughlin." Mom is smiling slightly and says "Thank God, I thought she was going to die." Sam looks at me and frowns. "Sorry I doubted you, I... I just didn't want to believe it." I smile at him "It's okay, I didn't want to believe it either really." Mom turns to us and says "You two, why don't you go into the waiting room?" We nod and walk into the waiting room. I look at a girl outside the door and yell. "Hey, Kitty!" She looks over at me and smiles. She runs in and sits next to me. "Heya! Can I remind that it's Kitteh?" I laugh. "You have one weird name! What's up?" She frowns. "A lot. Toaster's moving in with me, something weird happened to him." I pull a confused face. "Aren't you married to someone?" She nods at me. "They found... a body hanging from a rope in Toaster's wardrobe." I shudder. "Creepy. Anyways, you should probably head home. See ya!" Kitteh giggles before leaving and I hear one last thing. "Why are all of them so STUPID?" I pull a confused face and Sam stares at me. "Bet you anything that Kitteh put the body in the wardrobe." I nod. "She's insane, it was probably her."
