Chapter 1- finding Alexandria

Sam's P.O.V
I was walking in the forest with my son Andrew when I saw a metal fence with wooden posts around it, I was excited but I didn't want to get my hopes up yet as the place might be over run I was with my boyfriend Daryl before this place but he went after someone and I haven't seen him since and that was 9 months ago. I looked over to Andrew and his eyes looked dull "hey buddy, look over there we might find a place to stay!" I said to him "I hope so mum, I'm tired and hungry" he replied I smiled at him and kept on walking until we reached the metal gates where a woman was stood and smiled at me and my son "open the gates I want to speak to them" she demanded she looked kind so I smiled back while Andrew kept a straight face "thank you so much" I said but I noticed someone familiar it's Daryl I squealed with excitement as he turned around but his smiled he once had dropped of his face and he looked guilty of something, I ran jumped on him and wrapped my arms and legs around his body I sniffled and had tears running down my face "hey Daryl this must be the sister you were talking about?" I jumped down and I had a confused look on my face "what?" The blonde woman looked over to me and said "oh sorry I'm Jessie, I'm Daryl's girlfriend" my heart was shattered in to millions of pieces I couldn't look at him "oh, well I'll let you guys get back to what you were doing" I said and walked off it's official I never felt more emotional in my life until now I was heart broken, sad confused and angry, I saw Andrew talking to a young boy which was Carl I smiled and walked away to speak to michonne while I could before I left this place and find somewhere else to go...
