When you're not around,
my heart falls,
Beating,
Thumping,
It falls,
And falls,
A thought of a distance earth,
Blue with blood,
And white with clouds,
My heart falls,
When you're not around,
Swooping left,
Then right,
Then left again,
Like a feather,
Falling from a short height,
not far enough,
To spin or twirl,
But just enough,
To swoon,
And sweep,
Across the sky,
Blue and deep,
Our distances aren't that far,
And without a doubt,
You'll be here soon,
Quick sand,
Love thick as tar,
Colors are dim,
Ambassadors of love lost,
My life short of nothingness,
And grim,
When you're not around.
