Denied (Revising)

Chapter 21

I sighed.

"Paris! Look at these shells!" Napalingon naman ako nang sumigaw si London sa likod ko. I immediate diverted my attention sa mag-jowa kuno saka tumakbo papalapit kay London.

Upon seeing the shells, my eyes twinkled. Nakangiti akong tumingin kay London.

"Oh my gosh! Where did you find these?!" I exclaimed. He smiled and then held my hand to lead me somewhere.

"Look!" I gasped when he led me to the deeper part of the property just behind the rock formation and saw so many shells lying there. I giggled and then run over the seashore and giddily picked up whatever I like picking up.

"This place is beautiful! How did you find this place?" Nagtatakang tanong ko kay London.

"I was finding a place to make you happy and I came across this place." I looked at London. He chuckled saka niya ako hinawakan sa kamay.

"You've been pouting these past few days and that's not good. We don't want our summer ending with a scowl right?" Malambing niyang sabi. I pouted more. Agad niyang hinawakan ang pisngi ko and then pinched it.

"Ouch!" sigaw ko saka ko siya tinampal. He just chuckled more.

"Kakasabi ko nga lang walang ngunguso eh! This is our last week here. Come on, let's have fun." Saka niya ako ti-nap sa balikat.

"Tag, you're it!" And then he went running while I remained shock.

We played all day hanggang sa nagtakip-silim na. Kung hindi pa kami bumalik ay hindi pa namin malalaman na private property rin pala iyon and we trespassed. We were scolded when we went home by tito and tita pero pasok kabilang tenga lang sa amin iyon ni London.

"Why won't you come with me?" Tanong ni London. We're in the movie room of our house. Watching a movie. He asked me to go with him at their villa again but when I asked him if she's there, I rejected his invitation.

"Ayoko nga lang! Ang kulit!" sigaw ko. He sighed saka niya inagaw sa akin ang bowl ng popcorn.

"Sus! Hindi pa sabihin na nagseselos siya kay Ashley!" I glared at him when he said that while he continued eating a handful of popcorn. Ew, baboy!

"Alam mo naman pala bakit mo pa tinatanong?!" Iritang tanong ko sa kanya. He wiggled his brows really testing my patience.

"Because I like teasing you." Agad ko namang binato ang isang sofa pillow sa kanya. His laughter boomed through the four corners of this room, buti nalang soundproof ang movie room kaya hindi kami nakakaistorbo.

"Come on, it'll be boring without you. My parents would be busy with themselves tapos for sure Ashley and France would be having their own world. At least if nandoon ka i'll be having fun." Pakiusap niya pa rin. I pouted.

"Eh ayoko, hindi naman na ako pinapansin doon. They are all focus to Ashley. Eh hindi naman siya babasaging bagay na kailangan ingatan." I pouted more. He sighed and then leaned on my shoulder. I remained not moving.

"But I'm there. i'm with you, always." Agad naman akong napatingin kay London nang sabihin niya iyon.

"Talaga?" tanong ko. He nodded and hugged me.

"Yes, lovely. Always."

"Good luck to your first day in college, lovely!" Masayang sigaw ni London. Pinagtitinginan tuloy kami ng ibang studyante dahil sa sigaw niyang iyon.

I'm already sixteen now. And i'm on my first day as a freshman. Kinakabahan ako but since I'm in the same college department with London ay medyo naginhawaan ako. Pareho kami ng kursong kinuha but London is already on his last year in college. Accelerated kasi siya kaya kahit na mag na-nineteen palang ay graduating na siya. He may not look like it but he's actually smart.
