"The hell I can't," when she tried to sit up I stopped her and leaned closer,

"Hey, that bullet is still inside you. If by some miracle there's no internal bleeding, it might hold until we get somewhere safe. But you are not walking there. Is that clear?" Raven sighed and nodded her head. Finn carefully picked Raven up and carried her to one of the stretchers outside with the help of Clarke. Leaving me and Bellamy in an awkward silence. I moved closer to him, knowing what was on his mind,

"We can't do this without you, Bellamy," I whispered gaining his attention, "I can't do this."

"What do you want me to say, Alex?"

"I want you to say that you're with us, with me at least." I pleaded, "Those kids out there, they listen to you."

"They're lining up to go. They listen to you more." He said, finally looking me in the eyes. I sighed,

"I gave them and easy choice. But five minutes ago they were willing to fight and die for you." I said, emphasizing my final words. "You inspire them." It was silent for awhile and I glanced at him up and down.

"I'm afraid were going to need that by the end of the day." After saying that I stood on my tippy toes and kissed his cheek lightly. A few minutes later everyone was leaving the camp sight. I stood on the side, watching everyone pass me by. Raven on the stretcher was being carried by Finn and Clarke. Octavia lead the group with a gun for protection. I looked back and saw Bellamy was still looking at the drop ship. I walked towards him, a light smile on my face,

"You did good here Bellamy,"

"18 dead." Was all he said, as he looked at me.

"83 alive." I moved closer and hugged him, he picked up a tin of water and tossed it on the fire, causing it to die. He grabbed my hand and together we left the camp and joined the rest of the group, "You did good."

We were walking for a while. Everything seemed fine. Everyone was talking about the beach and what it would look like. Bellamy squeezed my hand and smiled down at me,

"What are you looking forward to?" I smiled and glanced at our hands, our fingers intertwined,

"I can't wait to hear the sounds of the waves and feel the sand." Bellamy smiled at me and was about to say something but we stopped. Octavia was glancing around the forest and I knew why. It was quiet. Too quiet.

"Why'd we stop?" some guy in front of me asked. But before anyone could answer a knife came flying towards us, and hit him right in the face. I gasped in shock as his body fell to the ground dead. Bellamy quickly pulled me behind him and looked around the forest, gun raised and concentrated.

"Run!" Jasper yelled, "Grounders!" It was frenzy to say the least. After that everyone was running back to the camp. Rushing to get past the "protected walls". The gate was closed and guys lined up at the wall, looking for grounders.

"Where are they? Why aren't they attacking?" Bellamy asked.

"Because were doing exactly what they want us to do."

"What are you talking about?" I ignored him and turned around to face Finn and Octavia.

"Lincoln said the scouts will be the first to arrive," I reminded everyone.

"If its just scouts, we can fight our way out. That's what Lincoln would do." I knew her taking his side would end badly with her brother.

"Were done doing what that grounder would do. We did that at first and Jonathan got killed." I looked down and what he was motioning to and sure enough the boy that was in front of me a few minutes ago in the forest was lying dead on the ground.
