"YOU KNEW... "
The way you look,when You smile,
Those unique eyes,
Have a meaning,
no one can decipher other than me...
I let you go that night,
Knew you would soon return,
A foolish misunderstanding,
You left me forever,
Always needed a reason to flee...
Stood at the porch,
Crying for you,
You used me very well,
Knowing You'll be the death of me...
I made an oath that night,
To Never forgive you,
To push the feelings away,
To not accept your heartfelt apology,
But when you stood in front of me,
Your radiating body kneeling before me,
I felt my chest tighten,
Unable to resist so long.
I never knew, you were forgiven due to pity,
Until you did it again.
Broke my heard and danced on it,
Making me cry rivers for you again.
You knew I was sensitive,
You knew I cared,
You knew I couldn't resist,
As if your heart was my gravity.
My crushed heart makes you feel strong,
And you knew I would forgive you again,
But this time you came to me,
I pushed you away.
You knew I have had enough,
You knew this heart was far from broken,
You still would use me,
This time I knew your game.
What you didn't know was,
This Time I was prepared,
To give you a heartbreak,
Like you did to me again...
I had enough from those looks,
Those words and that smile,
You no more make my heart skip a beat,
You no more make butterflies come into action.
You were my first love ,
That I won't deny,
But I will find someone,
Who doesn't wear a mask.
Who won't hide their feelings,
Who will keep me above themselves,
Even if it takes me a lifetime,
It would be worth it...
It would make me finally move on,
Help me revive,
Mould me heart along with theirs,
The way you never did.
When I meet that person,
I will finally be born,
The life I want to live,
And express it in a romantic song....
