I raise my eyebrow and we finally reach my locker.
Do I need my Calculus book?
"You guys are the type of people who can't just date anyone. You have to date within our social community."
Where's my physics?
"Do you hear a word I'm saying?"
I scrimmage through my locker looking for my proper note and textbooks.
Nodding my head I look up at her. "Mmm? Yeah. You said something about dating and our social circle."
She rolls her eyes and leans against the locker next to me.
"Well, are you gonna call him?"
"Now why would I do that?" Closing my locker I look down at my watch.
7:58
Class starts in two minutes.
"So you guys can talk about what's happened." She says as we make our way to class.
"I don't think that's necessary. I'll just have my representative release as statement and that will stop all the rumors. Problem solved."
I'm good.
"Just like that?"
"Just like that." I confirm.
We arrive in class and I take my seat towards the middle of the class.
Beep.
Looking down at phone I notice the notification of a text message.
Alex & Evie. I like the sound of that.

"Call him."
"No."
"Call him."
"Give me one good reason."
"He's completely and utterly hot. Like hotter than the Suns surface hot."
"Not good enough."
Kara and I were currently arguing about me calling Alex now that I have his number.
"Come on Evie. I know you want to." She whines.
"No I don't and it's insulting that you would think I do."
"I don't know what's the problem with admitting you like him."
"Everything."
"So you do like him." She inquires.
"What no-"
"You just said-"
"That's not what I meant."
Definitely not.
