'I'm moving out! I'm fed up of it!'

'Fine, see if I care! How far will you go in life without me? Oh, and you can take the kid too!'

My parents. Their fighting again, this isn't the first time I've heard this. They also curse, but I decided to leave that part out. I'm in my room, with headphones in, trying to block them out. It’s not working out as well as I had planned. I can still hear them. Their loud voices, glasses smashing. As I said, this isn't the first time I've heard this. The closest we've got to moving out is about a mile away and then money and the thought of loneliness gets the best of my Mom, and we turn back.

The kitchen door just slammed, that’s my Dad, turning to his T.V for comfort. My Mum on the other hand, is probably waiting for the right moment to come out of the kitchen, to go up to her bedroom and weep.

After a while, my Dad would come upstairs, shout at her some more, while she was sitting there, helpless to my Dad’s accusations. Never fighting back, not bothering for she knows she can never win a fight with my father. He never loses, moms always “the one in the wrong”.

This story could go anywhere from here, just give me some time to think about what could happen next. I'm going through a bit of writers block:)
