Chapter 6

~Ian's POV~
It's been a week since Gwen got to Vegas, now it's the day of the judges decision to choose dancers to be contestants on the show. The dancers are required to do their last solo for one last time. Chachi had been there for Gwen all the way, and now I'm going there to meet up with them and cheer her on. Unfortunately, Brian can't make it because of his classes overseas.
Chachi: Ian!
Ian : Hey Chach, how's Gwen
Chachi : She's doing fine, she's kind of stress about her solo
We walk over to her who was practicing. She turns to me and smile.
Gwen : Hey Ian
Ian : Hey Gwen, how's it going?
Gwen : Nervous, very nervous
Ian : Don't worry, you'll be great out there
Gwen : Thanks Ian.
Staff: next group, you got 30 minutes to get ready. Then I will be calling you in then
Gwen then starts to practice again and again and again. She was stressing, I can see it clearly on her face. Then suddenly, She walked off, crying. I follow her and found her in a corner, talking in to the phone.
Gwen : I can't do this Brian, I'm scare
-Brian : No Gwen, you can do it. You made it this far already. You can't give up now-
Gwen : Brian, there is so much pressure on me now
-Brian : I know Gwen, hang in there ok. You're the greatest. I know it's a lot of pressure, it's not going to be like last time ok. You'll do good out there baby girl-
Staff : We're ready for you now
-Brian : that's your cue. Knock'em dead sis-
Gwen : Alright, love you
~Hangs up~
Gwen : Oh hey Ian
Ian : Let's go, it's your time to shine Gwen
We went into the theatre and Gwen was walking up the stage. The judges cue her music, and she started dancing. She move so gracefully on the stage, smoothly through all her steps, the guy that gets to be her boyfriend got to be the luckiest guy on the planet. All of the judges stand up and applause for her. She smiles and ran off the stage.
Chachi: that was wonderful.
Ian : let's go rest before you have to go for the top 20 cut
Chachi : Can we go get some cakes
Gwen : Yea let's do that
We went to get some snacks and for a while later Gwen went back to the top 20 cut, we sit and wait for her outside. We heard screaming in joy and also people coming out while crying.
Chachi : You think she will get in?
Ian : Hope so, I'm pretty sure. She's amazing
Chachi : Yea, hope so

~Gwen's POV~
Kat Deeley : Ready Gwen?
Gwen : Yep
Kat : Alright, let's go then
I walk into the stage door and enter the darkness. I walk through the coldness and dark hallways with few spotlights shining down to the floor. My hands are shaking, I feel like crying every step that I got closer to revealing the new journey of my life. I saw the judges and let out a sigh and walk up to them.
Mary : Hello Gwen
Gwen : Hi, I just want to say thank you so much for the opportunity. This event really means a lot to me, and I been learning a lot through this passed week.
Nigel : That's good to hear honey, you are gifted in dancing. There's nothing wrong about that. I'm the one who have to deliver the news to you. Unfortunately we are looking for only 3 contemporary dancers this season, so I got to say that it would be a pity if we not having you. Congratulations you're in our top 20
I started jumping up and down, and tears rolling down from my eyes.
Gwen : Really?
Judges : Really!!
They all laughs
Gwen : Thanks you so much
I said and walk off the stage. I pull my phone out and dial Brian

~Brian POV~
While the last group of my dance class finish their routine, my phone rang and it was Gwen.
Lando : Brian, it's Gwen
Lando ran up to me and quickly handed me the phone
Brian : Hello?
-Gwen : Bri, Guess what? I got into the top 20-
Brian : No way
Gwen : Yes way
Brian : hey everyone, Gwen got into the top 20 !!
Everyone all cheered and clapped for her
-Gwen : Are you in the middle of teaching a class?-
Brian : Just about finished. I'm so proud of you
-Gwen : Thanks Bri, I better go tell Chachi. She will go crazy -
Brian : Alright, bye. See you soon
~hangs up ~

~Gwen's POV~
I walked out of the theatre and walked over to Ian and Chachi
Chachi : So how was it?
Ian : Did you made it
Gwen: I...I...made it to the top 20
Chachi : Really?? You did??
Gwen : Yes
Chachi : -hugs- Yes! I'm so proud of you
Gwen : Thanks Chach, I couldn't have done it with out you
Chachi : let's go pack our stuff and go home. All the guys are waiting for the news
We went back to the hotel room and got all of stuff packed and then got on a plane back home.

I open up the door to the lions den with all the guys sitting on the couch with cake and food on the table.
Guys : Congratulations Gwenny
Gwen : Aww thank you guys
We all sit down and ate dinner together, talking about how they would go and cheer for me every week, who will I get for my partner and what will I be dancing too. Once we finish we all packed up the dishes
Jun : We'll take care of this you can go relax Gwen. It's your night.
Gwen : No it's ok guys, I can take care of it.
JP : Jawn would you take Gwen to rest please –winking at Jawn- -Jawn nod-
Jawn : Here Gwen, come with me.
I walk out of the kitchen with Jawn and suddenly Jawn hold my hand.
Gwen : Wassup Jawn?
Jawn: I know you said that you aren't ready for a relationship yet but I really like you, a lot. So I just want to ask you for chance for me to take care of you. Will you please be my girl friend
Gwen : -blush- Wow Jawn, I don't know what to say
Jawn : Say yes and be my girl please
Gwen :Yes Jawn
Jawn :Yes!! –pick Gwen up and spin her around-
