Guess who's back

Dwayne, Whitley, and Michael are staying in a hotel near the school.

Whitley:playing with Michael.

Dwayne: putting on his coat. Alright baby I'm about to head over to Ron's

Whitley: distracted. Okay

Dwayne walks out into the hotel hall and sees a woman across from his room drop her things

Dwayne: walks over to help.

Girl: Chuckles. Thanks, I'm sorry, I'm really clumsy.

Dwayne: looks up at the girl. Denise?!
In awe.

Denise Huxtable: Dwayne! God, it's so good to see you! They hug.

Dwayne: It's good to see you too, so much has happened since we last talked.

Denise: yeah, no kidding
An awkward silence falls between them

Dwayne: clears throat. So how's um... The husband.

Denise: smiles playfully. We're not together anymore, you would know that if you would call or write me. Punches Dwayne playfully.

Dwayne: sorry I've been living in Japan for the past few years.

Denise: wow Japan! Dwayne that's so cool. I love to know what it's like.

Dwayne: well maybe we can get together sometime and talk about it

Denise: I'd like that. Smiles

Another awkward silence falls between them until Whitley opens the door after hearing talking.

Denise: Whitley! Hi. walks over to shake her hand

Whitley: Denise! It's so good to see you again! What are you doing back out here?

Denise: I'm actually going back to school

Dwayne: really? That's great!

Whitley: Dwayne you seem excited for someone you haven't seen in years.

Denise: It's ok, how come you're in Dwayne's hotel room?

Dwayne: scratches the back of his head nervously.

Whitley: Forgive me Denise, where are my manners. Dwayne and I are married now. We have a son named Michael. Would you like to see him?

Denise: kind of embarrassed and hurt.
Um..no thank you I actually have to get going. It was nice to see you guys again. Goes inside her hotel room.

Denise's thoughts: why wasn't I invited to their wedding? I thought we were friends.

Dwayne and Whitley

Whitley: Kind of sarcastic and upset. It sure was nice to see her again! Tell Ron I said hi. Goes back inside

Dwayne: sighs and leaves.

Back at the school. Janice and Devante are relaxing on Janice's bed.

Devante: so when I make it big, you gon' be at all my shows right.

Janice: rolls her eyes. Boy, I've never even heard you sing.

Devante: you want me to sing you something?

Janice: playfully. No.

Devante: Foreal, I wrote a song for you.

Janice: for me?

Devante: yeah, it's called Forever My Lady

Janice: If you want to be a singer why are you majoring in engineering?

Devante: That's just to make my moms happy. But my heart is really in the music.

Janice: Does your mom know?

Before he answers Lena and Gina come in loud as usual.

Gina: stops in front of Janice's bed. Now you know he is not supposed to be in here.

Janice: says who?

Gina: with an attitude. Me. Now you got to go. To Devante.

Janice: gets up. What's your problem?
Crosses her arms.

Lena: walks over next to Gina. You are. You came in here acting like you better than everybody else.

Janice: what are you talking about?

Lena: You came in acting all boogie.
Crosses her arms

Janice: sighs. I don't have time for this. leaves

Devante: goes after her. Hey, what was that all about?

Janice: I have no idea.

Devante: I seriuosly want to play you the song though

Janice: stops. Okay sing

Devante: not here.

Janice: so where?

Devante: smiles. Lets go

They walk off.
