MaNan~When Fate Is Sealed

Chapter 1-part 2~ The preparation for the first day

Suddenly chachi called from
Downstairs " Nandu beta, where are you, come downstairs, Dekho time Kya hogya, office Keh pehle din Kya tume late hona hai?"

Hearing upon chachi calling, I shook my head , trying to return  back to reality, I said to myself "that's the past nadini, today is your day, Forget  the past and move on"

I quickly wiped away my tears, and replied back to chachi in a croaky voice " Haan chachi, bas tori dehr mein ay, bas teyar Ho rahi thi"

I didn't even know what to wear today. Shall I go for a more formal look as its my first day, or will that be too smart. It was a music company, so I guess I can wear anything. I was so confused?

I then decided to call Navya, Navya my best friend, or shall I say my soul sister, she's been with me through thick and thin. Everything that I've been through she's always been by my side when everyone else walked away.

I grabbed my phone which was lying faced down on my bed. Just as I was going to dial Navya, an incoming call came from the new music company I was going to join this morning. I had a mini heart  attack, millions of questions came into my head, "I hope the boss isn't calling me?", "I hope I'm not late"
With these doubts in my head,I answered the phone.

"Hello" I said questionably, hesitant to hear who was at the other of the line . I waited for a couple of seconds when a  deep, yet familiar voice  replied back saying,
"Hello Miss.Murthy, This is Mr.Malhotra, your boss"
I knew it was going to be my boss, "crap crap crap, Nandini  Murthy  in trouble on her first day. This wasn't like me", she questioned.

I quickly replied "Hi, yes Mr.Malhotra,"
I mean I didn't even know what to reply back with the fear of him saying
'Your fired'. "What nonsense  was thinking"

He replied back saying" Miss.Murthy I called you to inform you that you need to be here sharp at 9.00am, and  I mean it 9.00am, not one minute late or one minute early" *beeeeepp* and the phone cut.

"Wow, he's so arrogant. Saying not one minute late, or one minute early. Huh who does he think he is".
I hadn't even seen him yet and anger was already striking me.

She quickly looked at  the clock and it was 7.45am, which meant she only had 1hr15 mins to reach there on time.

She then got back to calling Navya.
"Hi Navya"  Nandini said excitedly, 
Navya replied saying, "Hi Nandu, Kaisi Ho tum, aur chacha, Chachi aur Rishab kaise hai,?"

Sab teek hai, Navya forget that, I need your help ASAP, the problem
Is I don't know what to wear for my First day at office?"

Navya replied ,  "hay Nandu, tu itni choti si baat par  Parishan Ho rahi Ho, simple, just wear black. I think black suits you and also it looks really formal "

"Thank you Navya, love you, you've helped me out once again. Anyway how's it going with you and Cabir, and I must ask how's the little cutie Abir"

Navya replied,  "yeh  they're all good, Haan and Abir, maat pucho,he's always waking me up at night,always crying, sometimes it becomes really annoying, but then I think being a mother is Gods gift. Cabir is very supportive aswell, I don't know what I would do without him"

"Haan Navya, your so lucky you have someone like Cabir in your life". Nandini replied with a sad tone

"Anyway Nandu best of luck for your first day, you are going to do so well".Navya replied after realising that Nandini was getting upset .

"Thanks Navya, see you later,I will tell you all about my first day".
At that moment Nandini put the phone down, and started getting ready

She  quickly ran towards the wardrobe, where all her clothes were arranged, in colour co-ordination, from left to right, starting with the darker colours first, ending with the lighter colours. She quickly grabbed a plain purple  chiffon blouse, and paired it with a plain black midi pencil skirt, a black blazer and black heels.
She quickly tied her hair into a smart clean bun, with her fringe out. Finally she was ready.

By the time she got ready it was 8.30am. She quickly  grabbed her bag, phone and Car keys and ran out of the house. As she ran out of the house, chachi screamed behind her
" Nashta kar Ke jo jana Tha na nandu, aisi bi Kya jaldi hai"
Chachi  worried if Nandini didn't  eat on time she  would faint,and if that happened on the first day, it would be very bad for her.

Nandini replied quickly" don't worry chachi I will grab something on the way"
she quickly escaped the front door, shutting It firmly behind her.
"Yeh Larki bhi toh", chachi thought to herself whilst shaking her head.

At this moment Nandini was in her car, panicking about whether she was going to reach on time or not. She was already worried about the way her boss spoke this morning. Nandini had never seen her boss before, which made her extra nervous.

She put the peddle down, hoping to reach at the office in time.

Finally she reached, and she was 10 minutes early aswell. She then Suddenly remembered  that Mr.  Malhotra said to be on time, not one minute late, not one minute early.So she waited in the car. The time
Now was 8.55am. So she decided to go inside.

Authors note- hi again, please do read this part, it's a little longer than the previous one. Also my Hindi/Urdu isn't very good so please mind any grammatical errors. Hope you all enjoy it, please leave feedback so i know  if the story is going in a positive direction or not
